are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Shit. Riot should just double down and get The Killer, Harms Way, Crudos, MK Ultra, and Racetraitor if you're going local to round things out nicely. Might as well also go for the Weekend Nachos reunion.

Also Bongripper would be a surprisingly great fit at Riot IMO.

Woah. Weekend Nachos is a name I haven’t heard in years. Have a friend that absolutely loved them

Their material still holds up so well today. One of my favorite Illinois bands ever.

Posted on the tour forum. NIN is playing Louder Than Life, which is one of the festivals they were set to play in 2021

Likely will play Lolla again, but no Chicago date for Idles in Sept. Although the routing would make it tough

  7. They also have the weekend before open in the midwest, which made me double check the Riot Fest dates. Is Pitchfork moving back to summer this year? If it's sticking to September, that would make sense for them too.

I got real excited cuz the gaps seemingly spelled out a Riot possibility, but it's like a 14 hour drive either way you slice it, so I'm less optimistic now.

Yeah that's probably what it is, I'm sure they'll add a second Brooklyn date

I would say they are in for Lolla, as they are playing literally all the international versions of it. But wishful thinking they play Riot

Lemonheads are doing an album play tour of It's a Shame About Ray in April with Jawbreaker (and more shows to be announced) ... would make tons of sense for Riot if there's not a Chicago date added, esp if Jawbox & Dinosaur Jr. got rebooked for this year

I think this means Wilco are out. The only way I saw them playing was a Yankee album play.

The Far Side (3/4 original members of Pharcyde) are skipping Chicago on their album play tour of Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde

could be Pitchfork, but this is the type of hip hop Riot books so I'm putting this as possible

Dinosaur Jr. announced a show in Portland, ME on September 16, which means they’re playing shows all of Riot Fest weekend, so they’re out, weirdly enough

I'm seeing New Orleans for Sept 16, but yes they have dates all 3 days of Riot

Def wouldn't be shocked if they just play 2023, they've played Riot enough times.. I'm sure there is still a good relationship

Oh you’re totally right. I misread their recent Instagram post

I for sure thought they’d do Riot this year since they originally had the 16th open, but travel would’ve been odd. Also weird that there’s no Chicago date at all.

But yeah I could see them doing 2023. Still curious how many 2021 drop-offs Riot gets this year

Fucked Up is playing Chicago in late-July, not sure if that's too close for the radius clause.

But give Me All-American Rejects and Faith No More!

I don't think Riot is all that strict on their radius clause compared to the bigger festival promotions, but I'd still doubt they play in September

Faith No More have been dropping off festivals this summer, so I wouldn't count on it

AAR make sense though with them on WWWY a month later

Hope they get all of these! I just hope MP is doing well and is all good to perform again in the near future. But don’t wanna rush anything!
