That barrier at the Rise stage sucks ass

 

I’ve never seen a line this long. This insanity. Bummed to be missing Sincere Engineer and probs most of LS Dunes.

 

Crazy that the lines are still so long. Going around 2 so hoping it settles down

 

What the hell is this thing? That’s brutal

 

I missed Sincere Engineer because of the line. It’s a disorganized mess.

 

Fuck the 3.5% processing fee for beers paid with card.

 

Yeah fuck that. Grabbing a bunch of cash before heading over

 

Still trying to figure out why they decided to put a barrier directly in the middle of the crowd at a punk rock show, maybe it’s just the angle of that photo but that thing absolutely sucks

 

Saying fuck the pink line this year and biking. About to head there for Foxy

 

Cannot believe it’s this crowded at 1:30. It’s usually dark by the time it feels packed like this.

 

MCR is probably a huge part of it today, I fully expect tomorrow to be less crazy at least at the start. I could be wrong though, I am a weather guy after all

 

This is defo it. Tons of MCR shirts, people dressed as vampires, etc. well. More than usual.

 

Speaking of weather, some models are showing scattered showers and storms tomorrow evening. Not a big signal, just some scattered stuff. Still looks like it might rain Sunday morning too.

That water station line is out of control

 

I have never seen such a presence of a fan base at RF like MCR. These fans came prepared for a show, alright.

 

Long line but it still moves fast. I was through in five minutes.

 

Just in here lurking to hear about the LS Dunes set

 

It was pretty great. I got an awesome picture of AG crowd surfing. It sounds like Circa Survive with a little touches of C&C and MCR here and there. There was a super fun grungy song and the last one (called 2022) was great

VIP area sucks this year, they took away all the beverage stations and places to sit on the far side and the lines for everything are now insane.

also didn’t know you can only use drink tickets in VIP area

 

Gotta love seeing a band like Hot Mulligan coming back after 2-3 years and getting a much bigger stage

 

Man the traffic getting around Chicago is absolutely bonkers
