I hope so! Having all of the stages with their own space was so nice. I preferred it over the side by side main stage. I also liked the Radical stage on the soccer field. I wondernif that cover on the field kept the field from receiving as much damage.

That was before Placebo pulled out and they are probably waiting to announce both replacements

I sure hope it's by Friday though

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

I still really enjoy their mid-late 90’s outputs. I’d go as far as to say that Transistor is one of my favorite albums. Of course, there might be a nostalgic factor since I was obsessed with them in high school, but eh

Hello, daily meteorology check, this time with maps. If you like maps, data and probabilities - look no further. Looks like lower 80's is a good bet for high temperatures. Still some model spread which is expected at this range, but overall they are starting to settle in.

The precipitation signal is generally quiet, but I've noticed a few models starting to show some afternoon thunderstorms on Saturday. There's a very broad signal for lower pressure in the area that day, which usually tells me to be on the lookout for some unsettled conditions. We will see.

Tl;dr: The weather looks mostly good. Slightly warm but nothing overly crazy. Watching Saturday for some storms.

Now to get Riot Fest to hire me.

Boosted! Definitely feel better about flying there now, will for sure still wear a mask but it’s nice to have the added layer of protection

I used to live by the Wizard of Oz park and I would say its not worth it. Its just a park with like 4 statues of the characters.

Should be able to! Though I guess it depends on the immediate availability in your area

I might bring a mask just for the stage with the sandy pit. Last year there was so much dirt in the air during The Bled and State Champs that I felt sick afterwards for like a week.

Theres a stage where the pit is in a baseball field, so it gets pretty dusty

I am planning on going to the fest Friday and staying to catch MCR and then going to Metro to see SDRE and The Appleseed Cast. Where is the best/easiest/most convenient spot to get an Uber after the fest?

Walk a few blocks east of the park. There’s a gas station a lot of people wait for their rides at

Why not tomorrow? They've had a few Friday announcements the last few years.

Somebody should prod them with a "You said announcements were coming this week; where are they?" tweet. If they respond to say "It's still this week" we can bank on it coming today or tomorrow hah.

i think at the top of the hour between 11am-3pm CST are our best bets for today. if not, i think it's tomorrow. time to turn on twitter notifications for the RF account...
