Whatever big slice was all the way to the left down the food section was a life saver last year.

I need the Island Noodles like yesterday though. So good

 

Yeah I think I usually just end up doing Island Noodles every day lol

 

last year was 2 weeks before my wedding so i was trying to 'diet' and was so thankful to the booth there that was like a q'doba style 'build your own bowl', but with only rice, beans, vegetables, ate it every single day in the park, gave me good energy, was shockingly delish and always had a short line, haha. hope its back this year

 

oh yeah crushing a thing of those noodles saved my life a few times.

 

a part of me died the year they sold the full bottles of wine split into little connected cups.

 

This place was great. There was also Polish place to the far left of the food vendors that had great potato pancakes.

 

I usually just pick the shortest line

 

I mostly just do Taco In A Bag all weekend and rotate through the menu, TBH. It's a full meal that's easy to eat with minimal mess.

Island Noodles or a slice of pizza if I want a change of pace. My partner's vegan so she mostly sticks to Island Noodles, hah. I really hope there's more options in that regard this year...

 

It's like the worst thing to eat on a hot day before jumping in a mosh pit, but I sure do miss the Cheesie's truck.

 

I haven't had Cheesies in years.. I used to have it like very weekend. I miss it but my stomach does not

 

A little off topic, but I just saw about Misfits playing a Halloween show with Alice Cooper and The Distillers. Im surprised The Distillers has not played Riot since their reunion. And I feel Alice Cooper could be a cool addition to Riot any year.

The Distillers would be a really cool addition! They would have fit on pretty much any day this year. Haha.

Alice Cooper would be a solid fit too, but I've kinda had it out for him since he fucked up one full day of Montebello Rockfest with his stupid robot castle or whatever the fuck. Gates were delayed opening 30 minutes because they were still setting it up... And they weren't done doing all of it, which bumped not one but two bands on that stage.

The plus side? It meant the Bosstones' set got moved to a smaller stage off to the side and that Lagwagon played at night between Biohazard and Sick Of It All instead of on the main stage at like, 1pm. Haha.

 

Pretty sure the pizza place with the big slices is Bacci Pizza.

 

Bacci Pizza has never sat well with me, but Island Noodles are my SHIT.

 

i don't like the taste of island noodles but just the smell of it makes me happy, reminds me of every fest i've ever been to

 

Also Jeff Rosenstock at Bottom Lounge sold out, but The Maine and Alexisonfire haven't yet. Damn.

 

Really surprised about AOF

 

Alexisonfire has never been a great draw in the states save for NYC and LA. That was essentially why they broke up in the first place. It wasn’t worth it for Dallas to do double duty.

 

Jeff was half the price of both shows and The Maine tour very frequently. That being said I’m sure it’ll sell out soon enough.

 

I think it’s safe to say C&C have a bigger draw than AOF

 

I pulled the trigger on The Maine and it was literally the last ticket available lol.

 

I agree, no doubts

 

AOF didn't sell out until like day of 7 years ago when they were freshly back after being broken up so I doubt they'll do it now. Also the other shows Saturday are stacked
