Now that the dust has settles on the aftershows, let's hope we get schedules either today or tomorrow.

 

I would be surprised if we get the schedule next week but that would be cool

 

The Jeff Ska Dream show would be a lot of fun but 11PM start time on a Sunday is what’s turning me off

 

FWIW, the Metro site says openers are "TBA" for the Trio show.

 

im kinda shocked that the GUK/Sparta show didnt sell out (yet) and hasnt been brought up here much. Chop Shop is pretty tiny and it would be a cool intimate show.

 

That's actually the one I came closest to grabbing ticket for, but they're doing the same album as they are at the fest. Also, my wife is going that day as well to see MCR and there's no way she'd want to do an aftershow.

 

yeah thats why i didnt do it. MCR is the only headliner i care about so im not even gonna mess with it.

 

Wasn't the pop-punk pizza party getting announced today too? Or was that Friday?

For anyone that cares, Brooklyn Vegan removed their line about Pvris playing their first 2 albums in full at their after show. So who the fuck knows what'll happen with that

During festivals I take three Motrin with my morning breakfast and three more with my dinner if it's wearing off. I also am a stand in the back person though, for the most part. The Wonder Years and The Maine are probably the only two sets I'm going to camp up front for this year.

 

Those are my two "up front" bands as well. In theory i'd love to be front for MCR but i'm a realistic man.

 

I'm flying to WWWY in October in Vegas and going to that ridiculous When We Were Hungry festival before that also. So my schedule is going to the 1st day of WWWH on Thursday noon-ish and staying there for the afterparty until like 1-2 am, then going the same time on Friday and leaving around 8-9pm to catch the SOTY show. Then Saturday morning going to WWWY festival probably sometime in the morning until it's done.

The friend I'm going with asked me if I'm going to have any energy when we get to Saturday for WWWY. I told him that I'm probably going to be done 5-6 hours into the first day.

 

i hope the general admission bar is better this year. i just wanted a jack and coke man.

 

what's the average price of booze at the festival? this is my first year

 

don't take it as gospel but i think i paid like $8 for a canned vodka cocktail. it tasted okay but it just wasn't what i was looking for.

 

I'm mostly waiting for the cheese curds. Had them a few years ago at RF and I get them every year since then. It's so good.
