Are you parking in Cicero and taking the Pink line? I was thinking about doing that again if my wife wouldn't be able to drive me there.
Im still debating about Thursday doing FC or AOF. Probs I will go to AOF as possible conflcits with Movements or Menzingers at Riot
Right now that's my plan again. The only day it's tough is Sunday because of the Mexican Independence Day parade.
Edit: I think I misunderstood - you were asking how close the parking is to the park. It's like 6 stops on the Pink Line - a little under 3 miles. The parade is on Cermak west of Cicero, and the parking lot is a half-block north of Cermak on the parade line.
If you're not worried about street parking, there usually is some available in the neighborhood in safe spots.
yeah looks like a 35 minute transit ride. what a headache. really wish they would figure out better parking situation there but i get it's out of there hands
That's the thing - there really is no other option for the area unless you contract with one of the railroads but that fell through, too.
Also got my ticekt for AOF. SDRE and AOF sounds like a good time for afttershow, alhough I might be dead by Sunday
Fucked up, lost track of time, and wasn't able to snag a Trio ticket. I was on at 11:02 and it was sold out by the time I got through the line.
Alkaline Trio, Jimmy Eat World, and The Academy Is/Midtown all sold out instantly. Had no trouble getting two for The Maine.
i got a Ska Dream ticket for certain, and have a Jimmy Eat World ticket in my basket right now but havent purchased yet cuz lots to weigh - can i do 2 aftershows? will JEW even conflict with anyone else, (probably YYY who they would lose to, so it would be a bummer to miss jimmy)? But would i pay 54 bucks to see them in any other situation? Decisions decisions..
Got TAI and Ska Dream. Have a PVRIS ticket in my cart, will be annoyed if I miss White Noise but will be annoyed if I hustle over there after MCR and get new stuff.
Not super worried about street parking from a safety angle. It's more that I feel like taking public transit if at all possible is a tiny way I can be a better attendee. One less car taking up parking space in the neighborhood is one less annoyance for the people that actually live there. I know that's like a "recycle your cans" level of difference, and no shade at anyone who drives/parks in the area, it's just the way I've always thought about it.
That's fair. We drive from across the city because it would take an hour or longer to get back each night.
AXS fucked up for me for midtown/TAI if anyone has an extra I’ll buy it from you immediately. I’m desperate.
