I dont think an album play has ever swayed me in a big direction either way except for glassjaw doing W&T in 2019. and even then they were already near top of the list, but that shot them to #1 of the whole weekend
Yeah, I’m confused as to how Fear was one of them again. I saw it when they did it last time and had a good time, but I won’t e sad if I have to miss it for something else this time. I would have thought if we would have gotten a repeat album play it would have been Milo Goes to College.
Yeah, it's steep but its a super tiny venue for an artist their size, cool experience, politician I align with. I might go for it. What the fuck else am I doing on Memorial Day?
Thats fair, tbh I dont like The Strokes so thats a little too much for me, but I also feel other big bands that have played Metro havent been that expensive (ie Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire and Metallica) But if I was a huge fan I would pay it without a doubt!
I think a lot of people are missing the point is that it’s a fundraiser for a politician. While I do think it’s steep I totally understand why and it’s all going to a good cause.
Agreed - and if I didn't agree with the politics, I wouldn't be willing to pay that. But I do, so I will try.
There's still the fabled "SeCoNd WaVe" so dont speak too soon. We wouldn't want things to get.......complicated.
Remember when some on Reddit were getting mad at people saying that they shouldn’t be booked for riot fest? I stand by that they shouldn’t be and am glad that they aren’t.
Lucky Boys fans, rise up, hit me with like 3-4 songs of theirs that you think is essential listening for a new fan.
