That's definitely not the case in my area (Boston). Their shows are still pretty well attended and in pretty much the same sized venues they've been playing for the last decade or so. But you're also not wrong: If they were to announce album show it would up the demand significantly. I would argue that's the case with pretty much every band of that era, at this point, though.
Beach Bunny released his new album today. Do you think there is any chance they play Riot again this year?
It's definitely possible, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they played Lolla this year instead. They seem to be blowing up a bit.
Beach Bunny played Riot 2018 so it's possible! More than likely think they're coming back in 2021 though so they can do other fests this year.
ah yes, 2018, year of the Beach - Bunny, Goons, & Rats... if only Slang wasnt the previous year. And speaking of previous years, anyone ever catch themselves wasting insane amounts of time by going through old schedules to see what you would do different if that same line up were to happen today?
Oh absolutely, all the time. Especially when I discover a band and find out they played before (like Basement)
If Beach Bunny plays, they will play way later in the day this time since they have blown up (even though they were fairly popular) since 2018. I personally don't think they are playing again. I think they are more likely for Pitchfork, as @mattfreaksmeout said.
That location is SUPER far south illinois, like further than st. louis, on the border of kentucky so its probably outside the "radius clause"
