Riot Fest FB posted today's lineup and Fucked Up are not there so that makes it official

 

Guess they had border problems. That’s a bummer

 

If Fucked Up wasnt able to cross the Canadian border, Im afraid Simple Plan might run with the same luck

 

It seems The Clockworks arent playing anymore too. They arent in the schedule Riot posted

 

I’m thinking about selling my Thursday aftershow tickets tonight. Any suggestions on where I should sell em on? Probably not even looking for full price.

 

I’m guessing Simple Plan will be fine. With Fucked Up it sounds like they had people who just flew in from England and that was the issue.

Yep, I posted about it early in the morning. I was in the train at Kedzie that had to be evacuated because of that.

 

Help me with my main confict today: Bayside or The Bosstones?

Havent seen them before and only know a cpuple of songs of both

 

Just a heads up, I encountered a few food vendors who wouldn’t take credit. And when I went to get cash at an ATM they were down for a bit. Also a $6 charge for it. Definitely take some cash out before arriving.

 

I’d do the Bosstones if I were you. They don’t really tour much these days and only do mini tours, one-offs, and festival appearances. Bayside tours about every year if you ever wanna catch them again

 

Bayside are doing an awesome set this tour with some stuff they rarely play. If it was 50/50 I would pick Bayside just for that.

You can also catch Bayside at the aftershow tomorrow and see Bosstones today.

 

Not into the Bosstones as much as Bayside so I'd definitely go Bayside, and like @JaggySnake83 said their set on this tour is pretty remarkable. Great career spanning set but not sure what gets cut during their Riot set.

 

Wearing a blue Weakerthans shirt today. I don’t think I can do a full day plus aftershow today, so as much as I hate to miss Action/Adventure, I’m planning to get to the park around 3:00.

 

FUCK. They were like my #1 band for the weekend. Major bummer, but I guess watching Rancid will be cool :/

 

I really wanted to see A/A too but my whole body is sore from yesterday since I'm so out of shape so I decided to get there in time for State Champs. I'm skipping FYS also but I'm fine with it. Trying to save as much energy and health for the rest of fhe weekend and hopefully be in better shape for Furnace Fest next week.

 

I’m doing the same thing and cutting my day short as well. Prolly will only do rise and one of the closing bands. Tomorrow is gonna be like at 15 hour day. So I want to save all my energy for tomorrow. There’s people I want to see all day tomorrow and I have the tbs after show. Today was gonna be fys state champs rise and one of the closing bands but I woke up and was not feeling it

 

Fucked Up dropping the day of is bad, but at least it’s better than the random person I was talking to yesterday who was excited to see Pixies…hated to break that news.

 

Weird. There’s nothing on their social media explaining why they cancelled

No this was during the day in the VIP area lol. Felt really bad.

 

Credit to RF, this is the most organized they’ve been and it’s impressive.

 

Joywave and Big Freedia were excellent choices to begin the day with.

 

Not sure if there are much more crowd today or if FYS got tons of people for their set

 

Also, lots of bees by the Rise stage, don't if they are at other areas so keep note if you are allergic to bee stings
