I will be honest, Im surprised by the lack of masked people

 

People on Reddit are saying that the fest is overrun with bees. Is that correct?

 

Saw a few by the food stalls, lemonade stand specifically, but nothing terrible right now. Maybe during the day it’s worse.

Same. I’d say 15% are masked. I’m not but I thought more would be.

 

I will 100% be masked tomorrow.

Weird, everywhere we went near the Rise Stage said they could only do vegetarian stuff. But we found turkey legs near the entrance

 

ALK3 crowd looks huge. Good shit

 

Alkaline trio was great. My first time seeing them, I was shocked how different Matt’s stage presence is compared to Blink.

Their crowd i think was bigger than Mozz’s currently is. Just opened with How Soon Is Now

 

Oh, for sure. There's a ground floor area that's pretty alright with chairs, but if you're talking one of the elevated rooms with AC, for sure you can see pretty well

 

To his credit, not only did Moz show up, but he's quite punctual.

 

Was hoping Moz would be late again for the lolz

 

making up for lost time LOL

 

Deluxe VIP isn’t elevated, but it was totally worth it.

Joyce Manor was tight and fun. Patti Smith was good music to watch while eat dinner to. Alkaline Trio crushed it. Morrissey saying “we are all slaves” is all you need to know about his set…

Overall? It was a perfect first day!

Alkaline Trio's mix was really bad from where I was standing, but their set was still pretty fun.

 

I stood in the back for about 8 Morrissey songs and then headed home. Tomorrow’s the big day for me.

 

Also I can’t understand how there won’t be sound bleed with the way the stages are set up
