For anyone who is there now, how bad was the vaccination check? Did it delay entry and created long lines?

 

No delay at all when I went in around 3:30.

 

Got my free Ferris wheel ride in before there was a line. I think I’m going to like the new layout, and I’m glad they finally covered the nice turf soccer field by the Radical stage with a plastic floor. I’m sure it got torn up every year.

Also, no Cheesie’s truck this year?!?

 

Getting in was easy peasy. Just have those vax cards ready. Don’t mind the layout but there’s not many people here so it’s hard. At least the peeps at the Roots stage will be able to hear the Rise stage pretty clearly.

 

The main stages are....weird.

Also the giant walkway splitting the crowd in half is also odd.

Joyce Manor covered “Helena” and I have to say it a pretty epic actually. They sounded good today. Forgot how annoying crowd surfers are.

 

Joyce closed their set with a cover of Helena and it was wild

 

Anyone have sights on the Deluxe VIP main stage viewing area? Thinking of making the upgrade tomorrow for Pumpkins because I am in an irresponsible with money mood

 

big fan of half the crowd booing morrissey and also of other acts following joyce manors lead and closing their sets with MCR covers

also a big fan of eating a huge corn dog the morrissey day

 

It is v fun being here with not that many people around, has anyone done the karaoke?? Idk how it works but I wanna sing All Star v bad

 

It's a fairly elevated deck the runs long between the two main stages, whatchu need to know?

 

Does it look like I can have unobstructed views of Pumpkins or is it not worth it?

 

I have a decent spot for Trio right now, when they're done I'll meander over to it and get a bird's eye view for ya.

They weren’t selling meat at the vip section.

 

Wife and I got pickled habenero tacos and they were very good, try a vegan thing for a day it ain't the end of the world.

 

It seemed to hold up because there wasn’t a stage on it. Glad to see it’s covered, though. I’ll miss lounging on it.

 

He tweeted from the Desaparecidos twitter account. I would be stoked if he plays a set with them!
