Beebadoobie is English and so i am guessing she is not booked due to uncertainty over international travel.

 

I feel Beabadoobee would be more of a Lolla or Pitchfork act rather than Riot

 

I’ve never seen beabadoobee since she was unable to play the date of the Clairo tour I went to, so I personally would welcome her being added.

 

I’m thinking MGK is sort of the beginning of this sort of thing for Riot Fest

 

Also, new theory: What if MGK was originally supposed to play the same day as MCR when they were booked? MGK before MCR would’ve been the winning combo, I think

 

Thats possible but I think riotfest needs to consider these acts sometimes. Toss in a chvrches, ajr. Anyone who is played on alt rock stations should be in play.

CHVRCHES would be a really great add one of these years. I'm whatever on Poppy, but it would be a good forward-thinking booking. I've also been thinking that Kesha would be a good fit...

As far as people like Post Malone or whatever, though. At this point? He's in a different echelon of pop stardom at this point. And I kinda feel like an e-mail from Riot would go into the proverbial junk mail folder compared to the other festival offers coming in (like Lolla). I would say the same thing for Miley Cyrus too, TBH. But unless they are very deliberately trying to market themselves in a very specific way? I don't see any rock festivals happening. They could do it and put on one hell of a show, I'm sure. But I doubt it happens without a decrease in popularity. Because money.

With a festival like Riot Fest, I really hope we eventually get to see a list of acts they tried to book and didn't hear back from or got a straight-up no or whatever. I'd imagine it's a bit more extensive and surprising than we'd think.

 

I know we are still months away but I don’t think prices will come down much. They keep just getting higher

 

Does anyone know when tickets will be sent out to the buyers?

Also all these people selling the 3 day pass on Stubhub, does that include Thursday as well? I'm thinking about selling mine but the only thing right now I'm worried about is FOMO for that Thursday.

 

I suspect that depends on how well the next batch of single day tickets sells/what the demand actually is.

Depends on when they were purchased. If they were originally purchased before June or July 17th 2020 (I forget which) you’d have access to the Thursday thing. I guess you’d have to access for proof of date purchased via receipt ahead of time for that.

 

I would hate to buy a weekend resale pass and show up Thursday thinking you got that access only to be denied entry haha so definitely ask

 

dont just ask. demand proof - screen shot of their original purchase from the eventbrite page or something... but thats only if you feel you must buy now, id still watch the market over the summer, prices will definitely drop, people still in their greedy phases

 

Looking at resale tix this early is useless. Wait until a week before and you’re gonna get a ton of people who have had something come up and can’t go anymore and are gonna sell their tix for face value or less

 

That’s what I always do for festivals. Same with Lolla, Pitchfork, etc.

 

lollapaollza, riot fest, tour with local H, and now opening a small stint with the foo fighters. Radkey hitting it HARD this summer/fall. good for them! and i now get to see them 3 times in 3 months, thats crazy

 

I think i explained myself wrong... I bought the tickets when they came out so I have access to the thursday date. I was just wondering - if i do end up selling these on StubHub will it be all 4 days or just the 3?

I don't want to sell it yet until i get the actual tickets in my inbox and it will for sure not be for 400 dollars. I'm not a soul-less monster.

 

Not that anyone was speculating them but...Guns N’ Roses are out, playing Wrigley Field the Thursday of Riot Fest.

 

Man, if the pre-party wasn’t happening, I’d actually consider hitting up that show...

 

There would be literally ZERO chance Riot Fest would pay millions of dollars for Guns N Roses and make them a secret band on a show they can't sell tickets to. Or add them to a lineup that's already sold out.
