That’s wild. Wonder if people are that hyped for the lineup, or if maybe it’s gonna be in a smaller capacity this year (hence why prices are up)
I was also wondering if they reduced capacity a bit this year, but I don't think they've said one way or the other. Regardless, I'm glad I already have my three-day pass for next year.
I'm guessing/90% sure MGK closes out that stage that's further to the left (if you're facing them) of the mainstages and it goes Pixies>NIN to close out the mainstage. Crowd will be massive for both of those stages though to end the night!
Leaning in hard on my prediction that MGK headlines a stage with K.Flay, 3OH!3, Fever 333, and KennyHoopla rather than the pop-punk route. It would make sense with all of those bands. New Found Glory will probably close out their stage which will also have Simple Plan, Knuckle Puck and uh... I dunno who else. Pet Symmetry or the Weak Days could work.
For mainstage I was thinking Mothe Mother - Health - Mr Bungle - NIN And the second Devo - Pixies (not sure who could play before Devo tbh)
That would make sense because I was really trying to figure out who else would be headlining a stage. But I’m going to hope that isn’t the case. Because I was really hoping that NFG would be playing during the Pixies because That choice would be very easy for me.
Bungle already confirmed they’re playing before Devo, so I think they’re playing the same stage Totally forgot about Health though
Aftershows typically go way too late for me to handle (especially in the middle of the fest), so it has to be something really big for me. Mineral and Thursday (both at Double Door) are the only ones I've been to. If Thursday or MCS were playing one at Cobra or somewhere really small like that, I'd try to get a ticket, but that's probably it.
Generally the same. As I've transitioned out from weekend tickets to single-days it's been more appealing but often after shows aren't that great in terms of who I would want to see.
As cool as the new adds were, there really isn't much there in terms of what I'd want out of an after show. Though I'm now expecting that the Bollweevils and/or Airstream Futures would open up a Larry Arms after show. Which is cool, but not a "holy shit" kinda thing.
I'm much more looking forward to the Lollapalooza aftershow announcements since I'm only doing one day of that. A Jimmy Eat World after show would be tempting.
