Ah that's good to know thanks! The "sell out" last week definitely had me freaking out, but I dont think Im gonna worry about tickets until we get closer.
I'm debating on going Friday and Sunday now. Beach Bunny, PUP, Alex G, Ratboys, Pet Symmetry, Girlpuppy, Meet Me @ The Altar, Skating Polly, Kississippi, and Jackie Hayes are all enticing but they are also all smaller acts who will be touring again eventually after, so we'll see.
Friday is the only day i REALLY like but Riotfest happens on my 20 mile weekend run for the marathon, like literally the next morning. would not be upset if i skipped Riotfest this year.
I did it back in 2016. it was nice to have the VIP area to use the bathrooms conveniently and there was some tables to sit at between acts and what not but I think that year they only gave you two drinks. I cant remember what other perks came with it. Not sure if they've changed or if id put much stock in it since it was 5 years ago.
I wonder who support for the Silverstein tour In November will be now. Four year strong was originally on that tour
A friend lives in Humboldt Park and wants to go for the first time so I think I’m going to go Saturday and then hope for a couple fun after shows. Back to all weekend in 2022.
Friday: Smashing Pumpkins, Coheed & Cambria, Sublime with Rome, Motion City Soundtrack, Thrice, Circa Survive, Meg Myers Saturday: Run the Jewels, Rancid, Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Bayside, Andrew WK, Four Year Strong, Best Coast Sunday: Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Machine Gun Kelly, Devo, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Thursday, Knuckle Puck, Gwar, Kennyhoopla I also need to finally listen to these bands that I hear good things about: Pup, Meet Me @ The Altar, Citizen, K Flay, The Bronx
Someone recommended you send me a message about my 3 day pass so here is me doing that! Also check out Morbid Stuff by PUP and Youth by Citizen!
Looks like the 5 beverage tickets you get with VIP is only applicable to 3-day passes. Private bar/restrooms i guess are nice, will see what the price ends up being.
Coheed/Thrice/Circa/PUP/BB all on the same day? Uhhhh yeah this is fuckin easy, guess I'm only going one day this year
my initial reactions. if a band is untouched it just means i dont have an opinion on them yet and have some discovering to do. will take suggestions based off what i already do and dont like, haha. glad they saved all the heavy stuff for sunday so i dont get burnt out too early
Did more of a Warped Tour-style watch-list: Must See: Nine Inch Nails Smashing Pumpkins Faith No More* Devo Dinosaur Jr. Circle Jerks Motion City Soundtrack Pup Living Colour Citizen Would Like To See/Will Do My Best To See: Run The Jewels Pixies Mr. Bungle Taking Back Sunday Coheed NOFX Rancid New Found Glory** Simple Plan Thrice Thursday Best Coast Beach Bunny The Bronx Might Check Out If Time Permits: Sublime With Rome Bayside Circa Survive The Bosstones The Lawrence Arms Andrew W.K. GWAR Alex G Fishbone*** *Im seeing them open for SOAD in October anyway, so I miss them, or only get a partial set, it won’t be the end of the world **I do love me a good NFG set, so they might end up being a bigger-priority ***Fishbone rules live, so, same thing
Friday: Pumpkins, Dino Jr, Lawrence Arms, Pup, Kississippi Saturday: RTJ, Dropkick Murphys, Taking Back Sunday, Gogol Bordello, Andrew WK, Big Freedia, FYS, Citizen, Fucked Up Sunday: Devo, Mr Bungle, NFG, Gwar, 3oh!3, Fever 333, Kenny Hoopla
Friday Coheed MCS Thrice Circa Pup Living Colour Beach Bunny Meet Me @ the Altar Radkey Saturday RTJ Faith No More TBS Mayday Bayside State Champs Bosstones Best Coast Citizen Fucked Up Sunday Nine Inch Nails Pixies Devo Mr. Bungle NFG The Ghost Inside Thursday Knuckle Puck The Bled 3OH!3 Fever 333 lot of ifs and maybes would have to fall into place for me to actually go but fuck Im definitely gonna try to
Friday Top picks: Smashing Pumpkins, Motion City Soundtrack, Pup, Beach Bunny, Kississippi Want to see: Coheed and Cambria, NOFX, Circa Survive, Meet Me @ the Altar, Beach Goons Circa Survive would be higher if I wasn't seeing the BSN tour in January Saturday Top picks: Run the Jewels, Best Coast, Citizen, Just Friends Would like to see: Rancid, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Taking Back Sunday, Vic Mensa, State Champs, Big Freedia, Fucked Up, Bayside, Man on Man, Andrew W.K. I hope they don't put Rancid against Run the Jewels. If Mayday Parade did their self-titled, that would get them in top picks, but I doubt it, so probably a skip for me. Sunday Top picks: Pixies, Devo, Simple Plan, Ratboys Would like to see: Nine Inch Nails, Devo, New Found Glory, Fever 333, mgk, Thursday, Bleached Definitely the weakest day, but should also be fun since I won't really care that much about who I've got to see next and can just enjoy the day. I am kind of excited for PIxies though cus I got really into Doolittle this year.
That's a cool add for sure. One of the guys is in Faith No More, right? Never occurred to me that might get added but made perfect sense when I saw it

Sat - RTJ, Rancid, TBS, Gogol Bordello, Bayside, Best Coast, Joywave Sun - NFG, Thursday Knuckle puck, GWAR, Ratboys, Pet Symmetry. I wonder which day will have more more conflicts....
