Pumpkins, Thrice, PUP are my must sees on Friday and i have a ton of would like to sees with Coheed, Lupe, Sublime, Dinosaur Jr, MCS, Circa, Larry Arms, Anti-Flag, Living Colour, Beach Bunny, Radkey, and Kissisipp
If NoFX does play an album, that is going to be a hard choice between them and Smashing Pumpkins (I’m just assuming NoFX will be closing a stage).
That's what I'm thinking too. I'm picturing Smashing Pumpkins vs. Nofx, Run the Jewels vs. Rancid, and NIN vs. MGK
I think Pumpkins could overlap with Lupe, two Chicago artists wrapping up night 1. Anyone ever done VIP before? thinking of splurging for one day but wasn't sure if it'd be worth it.
NFG/Simple Plan/Knuckle Puck all playing on the same day means that tour is probably still moving forward, fuck yeah
Friday Smashing Pumpkins, Coheed & Cambria, NOFX, Dinosaur Jr., Motion City Soundtrack, Circa Survive, The Lawrence Arms, PUP, Beach Bunny, The Sounds, Meet Me @ the Altar, Saturday Run the Jewels, Dropkick Murphys, Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Bayside, State Champs, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Andrew WK, Four Year Strong, Citizen, Fucked Up, Man on Man, Just Friends Sunday Nine Inch Nails, Machine Gun Kelly, Devo, Simple Plan, The Ghost Inside, K.Flay, The Bled, GWAR, 3OH!3, Fever 333, Alex G, Ratboys, The Weak Days
Dude, I think you'll be able to get a weekday pass the week of for face value.. just go to the Riot Fest facebook or riot pages
All three days look pretty solid. I think I actually like the lineup a little more now that I know my must-sees are spread out across the weekend. Still a ton of potential for rough conflicts though.
State champs, four year strong, just friends and bearings being on the same day makes me think they might potentially bring back the pure noise tour this fall
Oh boy, Saturday first line is stacked. I want to see all 5 bands but Faith No More is my #1 priority among those
Friday: The Smashing Pumpkins, Coheed & Cambria, NOFX, Sublime with Rome, Circle Jerks, Motion City Soundtrack, the Lawrence Arms, Pup, Anti-Flag, Fishbone, the Sounds, Meet Me @ The Altar, Radkey Saturday: Run the Jewels, Faith No More, Rancid, Taking Back Sunday, Gogol Bordello, Bayside, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Andrew W.K., Hepcat, the Bronx, Fucked Up, the Bollweevils, Just Friends, Devon Kay Sunday: Nine Inch Nails, Pixies, Devo, New Found Glory, Thursday, K.Flay, GWAR, 3OH!3, Fever 333, Kenny Hoopla, Airstream Futures Sunday is by far the weakest day for me. Arguably, my favorite day is going to be Friday so I'll be peaking early. Haha. But I'm still pretty stoked.
You gotta go see Devo.. New Found Glory will be touring constantly for another 10 years, they'll be impossible to miss
I'm thinking RTJ v. Dropkick, with Rancid leading into Dropkick. Also, seriously hoping The Bronx does a Mariachi El Bronx set on Thursday.
The pro there is that New Found Glory will probably be playing a bit earlier. Closing out their stage, but will probably be on before Machine Gun Kelly starts.
I think I'm going to just get refunded. The lineup is cool, and the day by days are pretty split for me. Saturday is probably the best of the three days, but the big motivating factors for me are all split up against all three days (Run the Jewels, Devo, Motion City Soundtrack, PUP), while the rest of the lineup is literally bands I've seen before ad nauseum (Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Bayside, State Champs, Citizen, Knuckle Puck, Four Year Strong, etc).
