whoa whoa whoa... why is Radkey on this poster (2nd to last line)?? ill be so bummed if they are off riot.
Yeah, they are going to be processing a lot of refunds over the next two weeks. The single or two day pass approach might actually work pretty well if they were able to pull in MGK, even if he weren't a headliner. Think about it. The Nine Inch Nails day will sell really well. The day that has MGK will sell really well (particularly if it were the same day as RTJ). Less convinced that the Pumpkins will have a massive draw in the same way, but that's par for the course with their headliners where one isn't quite as popular as the rest...
Well Radkey posted about playing Riot Fest just last week. There have been instances where bands have played both, it is just really rare.
Still listed on Riot. They're a small enough act that they can get away with it, I think. And I doubt Riot is too concerned about their presence at Lolla. I don't think anyone is picking Riot over Lolla because of them.
But what about all the Journey/Radkey fans that don’t care about any other band on the Riot Fest lineup?
Limp Bizkit is playing two times in the Chicago area this summer within a span of a few weeks... all for the nookie
Does anyone have any particular hopes for aftershows this year? Here's mine: NOFX Thursday with Fucked Up The Lawrence Arms There's other combinations that might entice me, but these are the ones I would get a ticket to irregardless of whatever else was going on.
for an after show - any combo of thrice, circa, thursday, the bled and fever would make me happy (also etid if they make the final line up, which im starting to get nervous about because even though they are playing furnace fest they have stated the new album is out in Oct and dont want to tour until its out.)
I think Lawrence Arms will do a skeleton coast release show at Metro for an aftershow. Just seems like the right thing to do haha and if Menz play maybe they’ll open!
Would absolutely love a Motion City Soundtrack aftershow, though them holding out to do a NYE show instead makes more sense. State Champs and PUP both make a lot of sense to do aftershows.
I feel like they are definitely going to be on Thursday night too. SO maybe my hopes are too high, but I'm expecting them to play a bunch that weekend. Haha. The Menzingers opening for them would be wild! I would moreso expect Sincere Engineer to be added over that, though, TBH. I know she has the release show, but by the time that show announcement rolled around that would be sold out or pretty close to it.
it didnt leak it was posted on time. a lot of the bands have been posting it over the past hour. i think it was 11am cst and 12 est
