Not necessarily. He's beneath Snoop who wasn't top three when he played. And he's on par with Cypress Hill who certainly aren't headliners. A lot of it will have to do with when he signed on, I think. Like, if Riot booked him back in January? Nobody would have had any idea he'd be headliner material. And arguably, for Riot Fest? He's not headliner material. But if he was booked recently as a replacement? Maybe. But I'm doubting that to be the case based on his placement here. I really do think there's something to be said about the "value" different acts have at different festivals. MGK being on Riot is a very different scenario than him playing at Lolla where the people in attendance are probably going to be more stoked on him being there. We'll see in a few minutes, though. Really curious to see how it maps out.
Some really interesting down line up bands here. Distillers, the Hu (I missed them in '19), Turnstile, Teenage Wrist jump out to me as possible additions.
