I mean, sometimes news outlets pull the trigger and release an article early. And I know there was one year where an admat leaked.

But Riot is generally tight with most of their stuff. It's impressive, really.

 

I’m team not thrilled it’s happening. His past behavior grosses me out and I’ve seen him live twice and while I did have an enjoyable time, I just don’t have the interest in seeing him again and kinda wish the spot went to someone else.

 

Descendents leaked it a little early once too. And Blink announced at whatever time am instead of pm the first time they played.

Ah, good point! The bands sometimes pull the trigger early. Might want to keep an eye on any EST bands playing the festival in about 20 minutes! Hah.

They're not announcing it at 7 p.m. ET on a Friday. That gif is likely just the social media manager upset that today is the day ... maybe because they can't fuck with people anymore? The time on the clock is irrelevant, I think.

Already have my ticket for FEST this year but seriously considering buying a ticket for this, will come down to the announcement today. No one was more skeptical when MGK went pop-punk than I was but that record is undeniably catchy and would make for a fun headlining set.
