Variety is reporting that Lolla has been given the go ahead to take place the same time it normally does by the City. The article also says they are announcing next week, so Riot definitely won’t want to wait until next week.

I imagine the whole riot fest office for the last month or so has just been watching us squirm; laughing maniacally, twirling their mustaches, and smoking Cuban cigars with prints of the lineup wrapped around them.

Actually he's the first to post that. It's the city directly denying what Variety reported. The city says they have not given Lollapalooza permission to be held this year.

Quite a few of us are speculating The Strokes. I think they’d be a solid headliner

 

also maybe the city is denying the report since it leaked early or something and they want lolla to be the ones to make the announcement

I mean, announcing tonight with an on sale time for tomorrow would make sense.

Giving away tickets tomorrow makes me feel the line-up is DEFINITELY coming tomorrow. Early in the day probably.
