I'm leaning towards that. Pennywise will have a massive crowd that's honestly a sight to see, but the sidestage vibe of the Rebel stage would be dope for H20. Last year Street Dogs and The Bouncing Souls were some of my favorite sets because of that stages atmosphere
see, when i see the set times for a show like this it reminds me of why i cant really spend $500 to go to this thing. I don't actually get to see ALL of those bands. Rancid, Descendents, Glassjaw at the same time. I mean what the hell. Especially Rancid/Descendents? Why would they do that? That's 100% the exact same fanbase. I'm sure anyone who wanted to see Rancid...really wanted to see Descendents. I'm surprised they don't consider those things. Even Blink and Jawbreaker the same time. I guess those are different fanbases..but not really. Like on saturday Rise against and Wu Tang are the same time. Okay, that I can understand.
I never saw either way, but is Hellzapoppin for sure coming back this year? This might be the year I finally see them.
Also, did anyone notice that on the beer can schedule it said that it was B-52’s last Chicago show, but on the schedules on Riot’s website, it doesn’t?
The big difference between Pennywise and H2O? Pennywise will probably be back at Riot Fest within the next 2-3 years. They tend to play every few years, like clockwork. And tour fairly regularly. This is H2O's first appearance. I'd suggest H2O, particularly if you liked the Street Dogs/Bouncing Souls vibe last year. I'm guessing it will be very similar.
Even if that wasn’t the case, I would personally still pick H2O. But yeah, I’ve been wanting them to play Riot Fest for years, so I didn’t have to think too hard about this conflict.
Also, half of the set list will probably be from that album, so it is probably the best one to go with for deciding if you want to see them and to get into them before seeing them.
definitely gonna be there for H2O to get a good spot for glassjaw, though i don't think it'd be difficult on that stage
Luckily for me, Worship & Tribute is top-heavy so I can justify dipping about halfway through to go get set up for Blink
im debating this too, like how much of pennywise can i see before making my way over to secure a golden spot for GJ.

I don't disagree that Nothing To Prove is great, but I would argue that it's tied for #1 with F.T.T.W. Everything else is solid/worth a listen, but they don't really come close to those two in my opinion. I wish there was a version of their debut album without those annoying sound clips between each song talking about what is totally hardcore and family is life or whatever.
