Anyone know how long Blink has been taking to get through the EOTS portion of their set? I really hope I get to see at least a little Jawbreaker.

 

These are actually really bad. Descendants/rancid have the same fans like how does that work??? Same with turnover/micro/TSSF. Like cmon, through one of those bands during the lucero violent femmes time slot.

 

Saturday annoys me because there are hours at a time that I don’t care about anyone playing but then my two must sees for the day conflict (Avail and The Selecter).

 

I was pretty drunk at Back To The Beach, but I feel like it hovered somewhere around 40 minutes? Then a quick break, then the encore (which was another ~20 minutes or so).

Pennywise/H2O is another head scratcher for me. Not as bad as Descendents/Rancid, but... Still.

Yeah I mean Descendents vs Rancid is just a super fucked up thing to do and doesn't make any sense

 

Unsurprisingly, a bunch of tough conflicts for me. But the real travesty is Cursive only getting 30 minutes.

 

Saturday has me so upset.

 

I feel like swapping TBS with Raconteurs in the schedule would improve Sunday for a lot of people

 

missing descendents and rancid for glassjaw

 

I have a friend whose two favorite bands are Against Me! and Streetlight, and I’m pretty sure his favorite local band is Sincere Engineer. Sunday’s schedule was made specifically to mock him.

Microwave and TSSF at the same time is bruuuuutal

 

These conflicts suck because like many of you have said, there’s so much dead time.

Did a band drop out of Friday? Rebel has a 1.5 hour gap in the afternoon

 

These legitimately make no sense to me. Granted, they’re all different styles of punk but... they’re basically mostly the same fan base?... Why would you do that?...

 

Sunday is by far my easiest day which is nice because the past two years it’s been my busiest day.

 

Also the AM!/Streetlight/GBV conflict on Sunday is disappointing

Yep... This happens to me every year. I want to fly out and go to Riot Fest so badly, and then the 10+ conflicts that end up happening in the schedule make me happy I’m not going

 

Yeah I'd like to see all 3 of these bands. As it is, I'll leave GBV a bit early to at least see TDB so I will get to see two of the three. I'm seeing GBV later in the year anyway

Incidentally in 2013 I'm pretty certain they put GBV versus Against Me! as well. Weird.

Friday is my busiest day with somehow the least of my conflicts. Missing TGUK is a bummer, and I've chosen to skip Dashboard in favor of either H20 or Pennywise, which I'm still debating about (someone pls convince me in either direction!). But overall I'm so happy with how this day turned out. Which leads me to...

Saturday, which looks like it turned out great (and honestly it kinda did) but I'm still reeling over some of the omissions I'm gonna have that day. Missing The Story so Far, Microwave, Andrew WK, Rise Against, AND Cursive? Ooof. I was also SUPER torn between the newly discovered Avail and The Damned Things, but I decided to go with TDT since I've been waiting a longggg time to see them (and I'm a Keith Buckley stan). But all in all, it turned out great since I won't be missing Manchester Orchestra, one of my biggest draws this year.

I'm kinda just wandering until Less Than Jake, and missing The B52's and Village People makes me sad, but this will be a great way to close out the weekend. That Against Me set is gonna be wild.

But yeah, AM!/Streetlight/Sincere Engineer is goddamn madness.
