Did they officially announce Behemoth yet?

 

Not yet. I wish it was Alexisonfire but I'd put money on it being Behemoth.

 

Would be slick if they announced the schedule tomorrow too.

 

It's actually quite annoying how late Riot Fest releases the schedule each year.

 

This. The Fest released the schedule like a month ago and its until November...

 

I wish it was them too, but Wade's touring with Cancer Bats in Canada that weekend.

We will probably get it next week I'm assuming

 

I could see them announcing the replacement band today and then saying “schedules out tomorrow”.. hopefully. We’ll find out soon!

So, that makes two years in a row that cancellations have led to superior replacements.

saturday night in 2017 was probably the most conflicts all at once ive dealt with, and i ended up missing wu-tang. so pumped i get to make it right!

 

Saturday was pretty crazy. Fortunately, I decided I didn't need to watch more than one At the Drive-In song... But skipping between Wu-Tang Clan and Streetlight, and then QOTSA and TBS was fun (but also stressful).

 

Yeah, I ended up doing all of At the Drive In, most of Wu-Tang, and a little Taking Back Sunday.

I could see that happening again with Slayer vs. Wu-Tang Clan vs. Manchester Orchestra vs. Andrew WK (though I really hope Andrew doesn't get an end of the day set again).

 

The article announcing Wu-Tang states "Stay tuned for more updates on the festival; schedules will be announced soon"
