My biggest wish is no Flaming Lips and blink at the same and give Taking Back Sunday an evening main stage slot instead of having them compete against another headliner for once
I would like if they announced the schedule first and then the aftershows, and that way we can plan which bands to see at the fest and which at the aftershows
My must-sees. Excited to see how they line up in the... lineup. Blink-182 Slayer Bikini Kill Bloc Party Die Antwoord Taking Back Sunday Manchester Orchestra The B-52s Dashboard Confessional The Struts Against Me! American Football Senses Fail Village People Glassjaw The Damned Things Cursive
My absolute top tier is: GlassJaw, Damned Things, Against Me, B-52s, & Streetlight after that its a list of at least 25-30 bands of "absolutely want to see, but will come down to conflicts" so i dare not even attempt to rank them and hurt my brain
Blink 182, Slayer, Bikini Kill, Jawbreaker, Bloc Party, Descendents, The B-52s, The Story So Far, Against Me!, The Starting Line, Streetlight Manifesto, American Football, Andrew WK, Senses Fail, The Get Up Kids, Village People, Less Than Jake, GWAR, Turnover, Turnstile, Hot Mulligan, Masked Intruder, Angel Du$t, and Sincere Engineer all have me the most excited.
Any idea what unofficial Riot Fest events usually take place after the show? The last year I went was 2016 and I believe they did an emo-night at Five Star Bar but unsure what there's been the last few years (if anything), besides the official after shows.
Soothsayer Hot Sauce does their pop punk pizza party which we talk about in here pretty frequently! It's usually Saturday night and it was at Chop Shop last year
i have to see Ween play the Mollusk and Against Me play all of Reinventing, which means they'll be at the same time. There's so much more I want to see, but my heat seeking guided missile is on those two since unlike the last few years there are not many bands to cross off my bucket list that I haven't seen live before
My top 25 based mostly on Spotify listens 1. Ween 2. The Raconteurs 3. Guided by Voices 4. The B-52s 5. The Hu 6. Hot Snakes 7. Nick Lowe & Los Straightjackets 8. Ride 9. The Struts 10. Lucero 11. Against Me 12. Violent Femmes 13. Patti Smith 14. Skating Polly 15. Teenage Bottlerocket 16. The Flaming Lips 17. Descendents 18. Manchester Orchestra 19. The Ergs! 20. Sincere Engineer 21. White Reaper 22. Dead Swords 23. Cherry Glazer 24. Avail 25. No Parents
I'd give out my spotify statistics, but all Creed all afternoon Fridays at the office are really gonna skew those numbers.
this sort of legit happened to mine. 3 years ago when i won a Tunespeak contest for tickets to Loufest where i earned entries by amount of listens to the band Hippo Campus, who i might add i am not a fan of, but id just put it on my work computer on repeat all day every day for a whole summer with the volume turned off, and now their entire album takes up 10 of the top 15 "all time most played songs"
I would watch a little of each 3 headliner for sure but I’m assuming they close out the stages right? If we’re talking first 3 lines AM!, Streetlight and Starting Line are all must sees but also would want to see American a football if no conflicts
