So happy senses fail is doing from the depths of dreams means they are bringing 187 out of retirement for one show at least
I'm sure you are all aware of how Wikipedia shows a timeline of band member and the instruments they play. Thought the Village People's timeline is pretty hilarious. Also super weird that the lineup change in 2017 swapped everyone out and the only original member is Victor Willis, who hasn't been in the band since 1986.
I counted 20 bands with either female or trans members, could also be a couple I missed. I'd say that's a pretty solid chunk: Bikini Kill, Die Antwoord, Patti Smith, The B-52s, Against Me!, PVRIS, Andrew WK, The Selecter, Cursive, Surfer Blood, Save Ferris, Cherry Glazerr, Caroline Rose, The Beaches, Sincere Engineer, Skating Polly, Thin Lips, Chaos Chaos, Yours Truly, Ganser
Ramona has a female member as well (who sometimes handles lead vocals). They're on tour with Teenage Bottlerocket and they're a really fun pop-punk band. (Not posting to correct you so much as to hype the band, though I've never seen them live...)
Oh dope, thanks for the heads up! If they're touring with TB then they must be my kinda stuff so I'll check em out
You could add Bloc Party to the list of bands with a female member. Unless things have changed from when I saw them a couple years ago, their current drummer is female
No. I've been going since 2012 and I don't remember it really selling out at all, except for maybe a few single days.
I bet we get an Against Me! aftershocks with more album plays, since they’re doing the 2 nights 4 albums tour. Same with TBS. I’d be shocked if they didn’t do an aftershow playing Where You Want To Be
someone on reddit (I should've stopped there) said Slayer is playing Saturday, is that even remotely confirmed? .. I figured they would close Sunday if anything
It'd be cool if AM did Reinventing and Cowboy at Riot and then the normal shows but maybe they'll do Cowboy at an aftershow TBS def will do TAYF/WYTB aftershow
it still means they are bringing 187 out of retirement. im happy cuz its one of my fave songs by them
I was a little disappointed when I saw the headliners but the rest of the lineup more than makes up for it. I love the lineup.
Same. This really feels like that 2014 line-up in a lot of ways. It's overall smaller than that one, but in terms of there being a really deep middle and undercard.
i dont think they always go off placement for friday saturday sunday cuz the 2013 poster had the replacements first they where sunday fall out boy was 2nd and they were friday blink was 3rd and they were saturday
