This line-up is strong as fuck! The headliners aren't the greatest, but the undercard more than makes up for it. I'm not aching that I can't go (thankfully) but... Hot damn is this a strong comeback! Also: Please let Glassjaw have a Worship & Tribute tour in the works.
Looks like they cut Hip Hop completely? Unless I don't recognize some of the names. Agree, very deep lineup.
It's definitely deep. The headliners are clearly not the biggest/strongest they've ever had, but this definitely has a re-alignment toward a more "punk" festival this year. Only weak point I can see is that there's no hip-hop on there save for Die Antwoord?
The only things I'm super torn up on missing are the Dashboard and Bloc Party album plays plus Jawbreaker again. If I was able to go though, I would be super stoked so good for everyone I guess.
Solid lineup. Nothing that makes me particularly sad that I moved away from Chicago, but I'd be there if I still lived in the area.
Aww, they did get Jawbreaker again! It’s basically a best of for previous years which I’m not mad about, but I don’t know if there’s anything on it that I neeeeeeed to travel for. Feeling very torn because I’m sure it would be a good time. Still trying to figure out if my money would be better spent on a Fest resale ticket.
Damn. There are a lot of good bands on here I like, but I feel 90% have played Chicago repeatedly over the last couple of years.
This is just about perfect for me. MUST SEES: Blink, Slayer, Bloc Party, TBS, Manchester Orch, B-52s, Dashboard, Against Me, American Football, Senses Fail, Glassjaw, The Damned Things, Cursive. STOKED for the album plays for Bloc Party, TBS, Dashboard, Against Me, Glassjaw, and Senses Fail.
Yeah I think this lineup is at least pretty good for a lot of people. Solid all around. Never ended up seeing TBS do Tell All Your Friends years ago, so I’m glad they’re doing that and Louder Now! Super excited for this.
Only thing I’m really bummed on is I had my hopes up for Simple Creatures and ATL. Stoked on the Against Me, Flaming Lips, TBS, and Dashboard album plays. Love to see Manchester on there again. All around runs very deep. I’m excited!
