Haha no worries I kind of thought yours wasn't that serious, but you know there are probably people on reddit right now being very very legitimately angry about this. I just feel defensive about this festival after the way people acted last year just because they were having an off year organizationally. It was starting to feel like people wanted it to fail.

I'm glad Riot has dodged Tool for another year. I just can't bring myself to care. I don't think there was too much on this that would've been in play at Riot Fest. I wasn't really expecting them anyway Excited to see System again at this.
I am excited COA got Tool and System. Two bands I never thoght that I would see. All the people disappointed with the lineup/ticket pricing (I don't blame them) will mean I get that much closer to both bands because I imagine the turnout will be significantly lower.
I just can't see Panic at Riot. I'd love it, but for some reason it just doesn't make sense to me. I just don't know if they'd go that pop for one of the big headliners, and there's no way they wouldn't be one of the headliners.
I wonder if Panic will play Lollapalooza this year. Their Allstate Arena show in February will have passed by the time Lolla announces their lineup.
Whelp. I was way wrong about Open Air trying to go "more Riot." While P!ATD is very pop? I could see them as a headliner (maybe in that Beck slot). A pop act with roots in the "scene" or whatever wouldn't look so out of place on the poster. So we gonna start a tally for all the times somebody mentions Fugazi and My Chemical Romance in this thread or what?
My money is still on Rise Against as a headliner. Seems like a Siren Song 15 year set would be a big draw.
I would not be a fan of Slayer. Plus they tend to stray away from metal headliners so that makes them not likely in my eyes.
