Yup. No Chicago. I don't think they played much of anywhere last year, though. Pretty sure they just did the one headlining show out in CA and that was it.

I'm honestly anticipating a new album announcement and more tour dates to pop-up around May (give the Bash dates some time to sell before announcing other dates). Probably a September/October run.

 

along with Lars' comment, the Interrupters high likelyhood of playing and the rumors of a new Transplants album is why Rancid seems logical to me

 

If the Transplants put out a record, I could definitely see the Transplants and Rancid both playing. Good call.

 

I was pretty convinced Menzingers were playing though (and I guess they could technically be booked after that 350 Fest if they need a last minute replacement but it's 2 weeks before Riot), so I'm not putting up a good batting average so far.

 

I'm actually surprised the Menzingers are doing much of anything until they have a new album coming out...

The whole Rancid thing, though, I think makes tons of sense. They have a few festival dates this summer but skip Chicago, etc. The fact that Lars said there's a Chicago date coming is indicator enough for me.

 

Yeah, I assume Rancid is a lock.

I know Warped Tour just announced their two festivals but don't think they'll impact anyone in a way that they won't come here. What I think it does show, though, is who might possibly play, like...

Anti-Flag, ADTR, Atreyu, Circa Survive, Good Charlotte, Man Overboard (they're back?), AAR...

 

Man Overboard will def play I think

 

I think A Day To Remember, Anti-Flag, and Man Overboard will more than likely be on the bill. Mostly because ADTR is having an "active" year, Anti-Flag is almost always touring/playing shows and its been a few years... And I doubt Man Overboard is just doing Warped.

I feel like Good Charlotte has been predicted ever since they appeared on a poster and were very quickly deleted a couple years ago, haha.

The Killers and Death Cab are playing Summerfest. I doubt we'd ever get The Killers but Death Cab could do either Lolla or Riot Fest.

Oh, it's at sheds. That'll be at Tinley Park, I almost guarantee it.

 

I'd highly doubt Pumpkins would do Riot seeing their connection to Lolla back in the day.

 

I could see them doing both at some point. We’ve had Jane’s Addiction at Riot Fest so if that connection is overridden then so can the Pumpkins.

 

I actually think it may end up at Northerly Island.

 

I could see that, too. A bit small compared to Tinley Park, though.

 

Does everyone still think Blink will still play this year? With the whole Travis not flying thing it would make sense for them to do a mini tour leading up to Warped in Atlantic city but if they do that it seems unlikely to me that he would drive back over to the Mid West in Sep
