Does this web site have a "reunion" discussions thread? It could really use one, if not. Haha.

Jets to Brazil would be cool as hell -- especially at Riot Fest! My understanding is that a reunion (not at Riot Fest) almost happened a few years back and then things fell through. So it's definitely in the cards at some point, but I think Blake is probably just focusing on Jawbreaker this year.

At least, that's what I'm hoping. Haha. I'd love to see them again (and hopefully not have to fly somewhere to do so)!

I suspect Treepeople with play, seeing as they had a couple reunion gigs earlier this year

 

Do they just drop the lineup out of nowhere, or do they announce, "The lineup will be out on Wednesday?"

 

Typically we get a warning a few hours ahead.

 

I believe they’ve always said “lineup coming _______” a day or two before at least

 

I posted on their Facebook months ago that I wanted Jawbreaker to be the new GWAR or Andrew WK. If they played every single time I would not mind.

Jets to Brazil would be amazing but I think Jawbreaker will be fairly full-time, especially if they actually release a new album.

 

They generally give a day or two heads up. And I just looked it up... For the last few years (2015-2017) the line-up has dropped on a Wednesday. In 2014, it happened on a Tuesday.

Typically during the third week of May, with last year being the exception (~1 month early) and 2016 being an outlier (Wednesday, May 27th; largely speculated this was due to a headliner dropping out if I recall).

 

Yeah at this point it can really come any time between the next 5 weeks

 

Exactly a year ago today, the 2017 lineup was posted. Any day now we should get 2018...

riot wouldnt do that.... and i dont want riot to do that. I love the fact that riot gets headliners that dont headline the other festivals. It might happen from time to time, but i like them being unqiue.
