Welp looks like Rise Against, AFI and Anti Flag are out

They have 9/14 off but its between Texas and Colorado so I doubt they make the trip lol

 

Rise Against was already out due to the Wrigley thing...

There's a better shot we get an Operation Ivy reunion (which would be cool). I just don't see them doing this at a festival of this size... Like, ever.

Regardless, if they follow the same announcement pattern as last year? We're like, 3-4 weeks out from an announcement!

With Beck following immediately thereafter. Cool as Green Day would be? I just don't know that it would happen... They'd probably want a 3-hour set, anyway (which wouldn't rule them out necessarily I just feel like they're huge)...

 

At this rate top 3 is gonna be like Andrew WK, GWAR, TBS

 

I always forget to factor in the WKQX Piqniq. They could have easily scooped up Beck (or Yeah Yeah Yeahs). Modest Mouse is still in play too. I don't know I'm honestly stumped.

 

I just don't see LCD at Riot Fest, but I'd love to be wrong!

I’m going to throw out Hatebreed as a possibility to play. Jasta has mentioned wanting to do riot again or open air on his podcast, but with the latter not happening I could see them returning.

 

I feel like the lack of Open Air will bring in a few heavier (but still Riot-friendly) bands like Hatebreed or Ghost.
