Don't tease us like that. Especially since I can't even go this year!

    That'd be a cool one

I also think Against Me will be a lock

15 year anniversary set for As The Eternal Cowboy would rule.

Mmmmm that would definitely rule. I got to see them do Reinventing at Fest last year and it was incredible

    Hey. Supporter

They’ve said repeatedly they don’t like doing anniversary shows / tours.

I would love if Wayne Kramer plays Kick Outthe Jams at Riot Fest! The story they posted does say that US shows will start in September, so I will cross my fingers.

I missed that story! But that's pretty awesome, and I can definitely see that happening! That would be a solid "second line" on the poster slot, I'd guess.

Here are some reunions id like to see. What are the odds that ANY of these come together for Riot fest (or in general)?

    Bear Vs. Shark
    The Bled
    Daughters
Days Away (music went up on Spotify recently)
    The Format
Gatsbys American Dream (or Money Pit)
Jets to Brazil (15 year since break up)
    Limbeck
    The Sound of Animals Fighting
    The Weakerthans
    The White Stripes

    Bear Vs Shark probably

  11. I would love to see Limbeck, the Format, Jets, Days Away, GAD, and of course the Weakerthans. Unfortunately I don't think any of those seem especially likely.

I could definitely see BVS since they did shows fairly recently.

I almost don't want the Format to reunite for Riot Fest because if it happened I'd probably drop dead on the spot with joy.

I don't think the Format, Jets to Brazil, or the White Stripes are going to happen. Not at the moment, anyway. Jets would make me super happy... But I'd imagine Blake is focusing purely on Jawbreaker for the immediate future.

The rest feel a little bit too small for a one-off reunion at Riot Fest. Except for the Weakerthans, which I could see happening at some point. So unless they were part of a broader reunion tour thing? I don't know that the rest of these are likely. Most of those (particularly Bear Vs. Shark, Days Away, and Gatsby's American Dream) would make perfect sense at the Fest, though.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

Out of these, Daughters is realistic in terms of them having the ability to play, but I can't imagine Riot Fest actually booking them to play as a spazzy grind/mathcore band. Dillinger has played in the past though so there's always the possibility.

Good point with Jets. also i figured the other ones would be small but hey, a boys got to dream.

Daughters would be nuts. They have metal bands every now and then and Daughters is entertaining for sure.

They've said that but I wouldn't count out sets that lean more towards the old stuff. They advertised an "older songs" set that I saw them play at Rockfest last year, which was pretty different from what they usually play.

Would also be pumped to see Alkaline Trio play Goddammit all the way through for their 20 year anniversary.

I would love this but self-titled. I saw Past Live and those songs are the only ones I’ve never heard.

I was thinking of that last night, but they've done it a lot so I'm not sure if it would really be that special

I would be all over it though

Alkaline Trio's last Riot Fest set list was damn near perfect for me.

Looks like the Dead Milkmen have new music on the way. I can definitely see them playing, and taking an early afternoon slot on the main stage or a closing slot on the small stage... Especially since they have history with the festival pre-it being outdoors.

Got a Cleveland date for this today! Very hype but I wonder if they'll just do a Chicago show or do it at Riot Fest

Boston date too! Looks like a very sporadic run of 3-4 US shows, hah!

I know this conversation (along with MxPx and Reel Big Fish) gets beat to death every year, but... It would be cool to see them on the line-up this year. Anniversary set or not.

That being said: Would a Nothing To Prove set really be "10 Albums" worthy? I would posit no. I could still see them doing an album set (a la Senses Fail that one year) but likely not part of the usual 10.

I don't think it would be, but the album is like 23 mins long so I feel like they could / should definitely do it!

It'd be cool to see a Steel Train reunion. Not sure if it's Riot Fest material though.
