Thank God that Radicals is where it is. Last year the equivalent of that stage was on the left side in the trees, and watching The Hives was really difficult because people were walking through the crowd. Since Friday and Sunday I'm spending my entire day there, I'm super thankful it's on the right.
That's pretty much exactly the layout I was hoping for. Looks very close to last year with just some minor tweaks. I think this layout will be their best in a while.
I kind of want to try to make it to the Riot Feast Friday night, but I'm not sure about making it from the fest to the their by 10:30 which is the only available time. Maybe I'll try to go the next weekend.
Looks like it might be a tight squeeze between the carnival rides to get to that smaller stage on the side... Looking forward to wandering around early in the day on Friday to get my bearings.
Depends a) on what you mean by carnival b) by what you mean included. The rides cost extra, but there isn't like an admission fee to that area, you just buy tickets and go on the rides. The Hellzapoppin circus/freakshow is included I believe. You just go at the show time.
The only day besides Thursday that I'd be able to go to Riot Feast is Sunday, but I feel like I have to try it out
Just a heads up to everyone, the Pizza Party/funnest night of the year is almost sold out according to the people putting it on! Also there's a pizza place across from our AirBNB that's open 24 hrs so you know I'm fucking that up every night of the fest when I get home.
Bought my ticket for the Pizza Party, and my buds are grabbing some after work! WHO'S READY TO GET WEIRD Y'ALL
Any details about the extent of what the rain is supposed to be? Torrential downpour or just a drizzle?
Just looked into it a little bit more. AccuWeather says 0.12" over 90 minutes in the afternoon. Hoping it stays that way, because that doesn't sound too bad.
No more weather talk! What will happen will happen, and we will make the best of it. All you can really do is pack yourself a poncho and cross your fingers.
Yea good point, I forgot to mention something about that because I'm an in-towner but I didn't know myself... thanks
I figure most people are already budgeting how much cash to bring to the festival, so you may as well account for Quenchers. While we're on the topic, those going to Boiler Room should also budget extra cash because it's cash only as well.
Great to know that the Flatliners' pizza party is cash-only for drinks. Would have shown up with nothing but a credit card... Good lookin' out!
