No worries! They basically do Riot Fest every other year then a 3-night holiday thing in Chicago. The Falcon toured recently too.

 

Yeah! I remember that Falcon tour - I really wanted to go, mostly for Kyle Kinane.

I hope Madina lake and eighteen visions get announced as 2nd wave bands

Madina Lake..a band I long forgot about. Had a friends band open up for them out in Wheaton back in like 2007

Rise Against doing Appeal to Reason in the second wave...?

 

I'd be okay with this. I think this album gets way too much hate. I detest most stuff they released after Appeal, but I think it's a stronger record as a whole than Sufferer even though Sufferer has much higher highs.

I appreciate the snark towards Beach Slang on the Larry Arms announcement that they're playing.

 

I don't think that's snark, I think it's lighthearted.

 

It's definitely snark, but it's lighthearted snark. Nothing BK wouldn't say about his own band if he were looking at them from the outside. Hah.

 

So I asked them on their FB post if the next wave of bands is gonna include more female fronted/backed bands and I think they deleted it?
