That's actually not a bad guess. Even if the peach isn't a hint for FFTL, I could still see them playing this year anyway.

 

I'm really curious which "they're never going to get back together band" they booked! They have to have gotten one of them because I don't think they would have thrown that line in there if they didn't. Maybe the Dead Kennedys have been pranking us and they are playing. Just kidding there, I'm sure that isn't the case. But I'm really excited for tomorrow.

 

Yeah I was thinking TFB and Culture Abuse based off those hints as well.

Original lineup of the Smashing Pumpkins was rumored to get back together for awhile could be them

 

It would be incredibly hypocritical if Jello ever went back to DK. I really don't ever want that reunion to happen.

Selfishly, I'm hoping that one's referring to the Smashing Pumpkins with the original line-up.

If it's Jawbreaker (which really, at this point, feels like a right place/right time thing that will happen eventually)... I'm going to do everything in my power to get out there this year!

 

Has a Riot Fest lineup ever leaked? It seems like they do a pretty good job keeping it under wraps.

 

I'm still a bit skeptical that D'Arcy would be on board with an SP reunion. James, sure, they reconvened last year when Jimmy was drumming as well.

 

Didn't last years leak? Or was that just the daily lineup? I remember one or the other going up via Groupon like a day before the official reveal.

 

I think that Groupon leak just showed which bands were playing which days.

 

I don't see anything on Groupon about Riot Fest yet. I've been periodically checking the Ticketfly page to see if the bands might show up there.

 

I think one year you were able to specify the hyperlink to /Chicago/lineup and saw something. Or maybe it was before the announcement was announced so we knew the lineup was dropping in the near future.

 

Last year, the lineup was password protected on their website, but someone guessed the password correctly about an hour before the actual announcement. Not too far in advance of a leak, though.

 

Makes me wonder why they wouldn't have just auto-generated a highly complex password to avoid people trying lol.

 

Didn't Descendents leak at least the Denver lineup on their tumblr the night before, one year?

Has Riot Fest ever sold out before? I'm probably going to buy a 3-Day pass in late June.

 

I'm having a hard time thinking of bands that will be surprising if they're announced.

 

I mean if you see a surprise coming in advance, was it ever really a surprise?

 

Blink leaked themselves 12 hours early in 2013. I was literally so excited.

 

yeah, this old rumor/pretty much confirmed by billy has me thinking it has to at least be james iha/jimmy chamberlain. Because they completely fit the bill and if it'd be for one show, it would be in Chicago.

 

It does sometimes, 3 day passes usually sell out first and then it sells out day by day. But June you should be fine

 

I'm dying to see The National. If we can get The Smiths, The National, and The Weakerthans I'll buy a ticket tomorrow. I'm gonna be hard to please this year.

 

Why can't someone leak the lineup right now?! I don't think I can wait another 16 and a half hours!

 

Was wondering about La Dispute, but now I'm thinking they may be part of wave 2 after Bled Fest is done. Would love to see Wildlife in full but can't justify going to Michigan for Bled Fest.
