I doubt Citizen will, since they were there last year, but yea AFI and Circa Survive seem pretty probable.
Oh shit you're right, for some reason I thought they haven't played since 2014. But now I clearly remember watching them while it was slightly raining haha
It would be cool to see AFI at Riot Fest. I missed them and Brand New back in 2013. The weather was just awful.
Haha yea it was like 1 pm on Friday, so I don't blame you for forgetting. I had a great time though, I was able to walk right up to the stage since no one was there yet.
Same, the light rain actually fit well with the set's atmosphere. Was kinda of scared because of 2014's shitshow of a Friday lol.
Haha yea thank God it never got bad, but I agree they're definitely a band that a light drizzle actually helps set the atmosphere. Before things went to hell in 2014, there was light rain during Circa Survive's set and it was perfect.
Probably just what I paid for it ($150). I'll have to see if any of my friends might want it first though.
They blew my expectations away. They were so good. Was definitely one of my favorite sets that year. And that is coming from someone that hasn't really listed to anything after Sing the Sorrow.
For this week's teaser video, we were able to dig up a Win, Lose or Draw commercial from 1988 that in no way contains bargain bin day-old Easter eggs about some of the artists playing Riot Fest 2017. http://ow.ly/uuCq30aV4aO There will be over 100 bands playing Riot Fest 2017, and we will announce the first 70 this Wednesday, April 19 at 9:00 AM CDT. There will be exclusive pre-reveal coverage on our Facebook Live feed that morning starting at 8:30 AM CDT. Three-day Riot Fest passes will be on sale Wednesday, April 19th at NOON CDT. So check out the commercial, and we'll see you Wednesday morning!
Their set along with Title Fight's right before were like the only tolerable parts of that Friday weather-wise lol
I hope Say Anything plays a set made of entirely In Defense songs. (I would say the whole album, but that doesn't seem plausible).
God I hope so, but if Panic! is playing, then I really doubt it (but I only say panic because they said something about disco in the video, which really could mean many things). I think Paramore makes a lot more sense.
