Pretty sure these are all just bands who have played in past years.

 

Yeah that's the 2012 lineup.

 

Yea, this is the 2012 lineup. I got so excited at first cus I saw Chiodos and assumed we were getting Bone Palace Ballet 10-year.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing Gaslight again.

 

If there is a Gaslight reunion that'd be top notch. I'd say that happens next year though

 

Would legitimately shed a tear of joy for Gaslight. As someone who lives in Upstate NY and saw them on average every three-four months, there is a massive void in my life

 

I wonder why the decided to announce bands one month early. It seems like in years past, they have stuck to the same general timeline as to when tickets go on sale and when bands get announced.

 

Last year Brand new played Northerly Island in July and played RF in Sept. Not to get your hopes up but it's possible.

 

I wonder if ticket sales arent going that well, so they decided to announce the lineup sooner to grab more attention

 

Fest lineup goes up on Thursday and this on Wednesday so maybe they're trying to compete.

I'm assuming a lot of people who travel pick one or the other

 

I don't think anyone needs to read into an "early" lineup release as anything. With the way they handle the lineup questions on social media it's a year long tease anyway.

 

What about DREAMCAR? Both No Doubt and AFI have played before. They're playing Chicago in May.

 

I was thinking AFI is likely but could see that as well

 

I would be pretty happy to see them on the lineup.

i guarantee AFI or dreamcar is on this (most likely AFI). it feels like their year

i'm pretty stoked to see what riotfest pulls out. These guys set the bar so high for themselves haha

 

pre sale tixs are no longer for sale. first wave of bands this Wednesday at 9am with tixs on sale at noon

Usually, yes. But I wonder if they will announce less than usual in this wave since the announcement is about a month earlier.

 

I guess this is a good time to mention that I have an extra 3 day pass.
