On that page it says "Last Chance for Early Bird Tickets" so I would assume they'll be gone by the end of the week
If the full SP reunion happens I'm gonna have to scrounge up some moolah, even though I'll have no idea where I'll bein September. Honestly though, even seeing them with Jimmy drumming two years ago and playing 75% Siamese Dream-Machina material was awesome and I'm ok with missing the addition of James and D'Arcy, even though I respect their contributions so much (Daydream, Whir, Farewell and Goodnight, to name a few).
I feel like it will be the full lineup RF twitter said "You'll have even more time to complain about the lineup this year"
I'm hoping for cap n jazz, a bob nanna band, menzingers, saves the day, bjork, nin, hotelier, and against me! Excited to see what hip hop they book.
since this is the only RF destination are we expecting them to really go all out? Hoping for Lagwagon and Converge this year.
My wishlist for non-headliners: The Menzingers Against Me! Bouncing Souls Saves The Day The Flatliners Every Time I Die Less Than Jake Alkaline Trio The Lawrence Arms New Found Glory The Sidekicks Direct Hit!
My wish list (some a lot more realistic than others): Menzingers, The Maine, All Get Out, You Blew It!, Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Avenged Sevenfold, Smashing Pumpkins (original), The Academy Is... performing Santi, All Time Low performing So Wrong It's Right, Flatbush Zombies, Modern Baseball (first live performance back), Petal, The Front Bottoms, Against Me!, Saves the Day, Fugazi reunion, 30 Seconds to Mars, Every Time I Die, Sum 41, Bleachers, Ratboys.
I'm sure I've already said it, but if they end up getting the og Smashing Pumpkins I will 100% fly out by myself to Chicago.
Posted this on Reddit already, however I don't think I'll be able to make it out this year (would be my 4th consecutive year) Would have to be something substantial, like an MCR or Bright Eyes reunion, although I realize they are equally unplausible. I keep hearing A7X as a possible headliner- any fire behind all the smoke? I used to love them but I don't see them as a good fit for RF.
They're playing Chicago with Metallica in June if I'm not mistaken, but I suppose they could headline Riot Fest. Think their self titled came out in 07, so a ten year performance of that (?) since their Metallica opening set will have to be the hits.
I don't think the Metallica concert rules out A7X, but I also don't think it's going to happen. I'm going to keep on hoping though. They have to play a headliner in Chicago eventually. Playing their self-titled would be amazing. I love that album, and seeing A Little Piece of Heaven live would be an unreal experience.
