Line-up in a few days, likely next week. I'd say in the range of Tuesday-Thursday.

 

This might actually get me to go across town to Riot Fest this year. Damn.

 

I know this is huge but I never got into them.

 

Riot Mike needs to be our next Secretary of State. He manages to get everyone together.

 

I'm so damn excited. Never thought I would be seeing them play together.

 

dumb question, but original Misfits would be a headliner right? A la Replacements in '13?

The Original Misfits will be reuniting and performing at Riot Fest.

This definitely makes me want to go to Chicago... but usually when these reunions get announced for Riot Fest more touring happens in the following year. Not sure if I should just wait and hope the original Misfits come to the east coast next year.

Honestly, with The Jerry Only Misfits still playing shows leading up to Riot Fest, I'm not sure how long this reunion will last. Not to mention that they may not be able to stand each other long enough to play a bunch more.

Either did I, but the Red Eye said they are headlining. I would assume they will be top three. But regardless there is no way they aren't closing out a stage.

 

crazy. I was gonna check out how much tickets are at this time too. Does anybody know off hand?

I just can't contain my excitement. Only one band announced and yet I'm probably more excited than I was for the whole line up announcement last year.

Aaaaagh I am so excited! I hadn't gotten around to joining the new site since I wasn't seeing any tour discussion for the longest time, but now I just HAD to. This is the best news. I'm not as surprised just because they have had Danzig in so many forms the past few years, but this is still the biggest and best. Can anyone in the know give some hints about how close the lineup might look to Wrecking Ball? I am absolutely dying for Thursday and The Promise Ring to be there, along with probably a dozen others.

 

haha fair point. I'm usually not dissapointed when this festival releases their lineups though. @Jason Tate just how "A+" is this year's lineup?
