Headed to the festival now. Wearing a green Hotelier shirt. I'll be at MCS and Brand New for sure, and I'll be bouncing around otherwise

 

Anybody still on the way that can pick me up a pack of smokes?

 

The amount dragonflies at Lolla last year was crazy, but great because I suspect they ate all the mosquitos and anything else interested in biting people.

 

How did the rain leave the park overnight? I imagine not as bad as last year but assuming there are a few soggy spots.

The Hives were amazing. Thanks to everyone in here who recommended seeing them.

 

I made a last minute decision to go see Balance instead, and I gotta say I hate myself. They played 5 songs in a half hour. 3 new, Patience, and another midtempo one from TTWTWM whose name escapes me.

I have no one to blame but myself, and I accept all criticism.

 

Their sound was awful, too. I bailed after Postcard.

 

Still no Morrissey. He was supposed to start 30 minutes ago.

 

Motion City, Brand New and Death Cab were all amazing. Fucked Up was great, Hives and Fitz were good. Fuck Morrissey.

 

The Hives were the highlight of my day, but Brand New and Death Cab were both spectacular. In line for Thursday now.

 

How's the line moving? Last night was a horror so I'm at a bar around the block. Thursday is listed as going on a midnight

 

Only saw the first 3 Hives songs but fuck that was so much fun.

I started about five buildings into the alley and I'm on the sidewalk now, so it's moving but not quickly.

 

Yep. Started a little after half an hour late.

 

Past two days were awesome. Touché was definitely my highlight yesterday. Today I caught the Microwave acoustic set, a bit of Fucked Up, MCS, Brand New and Death Cab. We tried to stick around for a couple Morrissey songs but left around 8:45 and he hadn't started. Hope everyone has a good night!

 

Yeah, my bad, I forgot about Tiny Raindrop. Still a pretty lackluster set.

 

What happened with Morrissey? We left to see Nas.

 

I think he just played the video he always plays but he shouldn't have done that at a festival. Once he came out it was great but it's a shame to miss so many songs.
