Also gonna be in wrigleyville tonight for a friends birthday. Gotta try to get in to TBS somehow. Maybe see y'all later???
I have bounced actions between the four main stages. I see the ferris wheel. Are there other rides? It seems like they toned back the "carnival" theme this year.
Agreed. Just one wheel and a sad dunk tank. I'm ok with it taking up less space but it isn't result a carnival anymore. If the wheel was bigger and in a better spot I would have finally had time to ride it for Ween.
Did y'all have a hard time getting alcohol in today? Thinking about bringing some tomorrow as we didn't get VIP, but worried because they searched us pretty thoroughly today
Such a great start to this weekend. Like I said, Tigers Jaw and Citizen were both phenomenal. It's crazy to see how much better Citizen has gotten live. Then I saw Touché, Tancred, Set Your Goals, Jimmy Eat World, Refused and most of NOFX. Minimal rain, good vibes, Strongbow, NO FUCKING FOOD TICKETS. Minimal bees, as well. Can't wait for tomorrow.
Citizen was great and this venue is real cool but Everything I heard about the staff being horrible at double door is true. For peeps going to Thursday tomorrow, get here early
Also uber was a mess but understandable. I got lucky and got one within 15 mins but other people were waiting a long long time
A couple questions... How was it getting in today, and how long did you wait in line before getting in? How much are Riot Fest shirts? And how was the food truck situation? Any recommendations?
I had vip and was able to get in within 5-10 mins at 11:30am. Regular entrance looked a little longer but still not too bad. I saw shirts around 20 bucks and 2 for 30. Some tents may have had cheaper. I didnt eat anything besides a big slice of pizza that was mediocre. Some great smelling meat kabobs I may have to go in on. Morrissey will be very upset tomorrow night.
