Just spitting rain right now in the burbs, you guys should be fine

 

Tigers Jaw and Citizen were fantastic, hot damn.

Kinda rainy, not terrible. Waiting for Touché now.

 

So far everything is going super well. All the sets have been awesome and the rain isn't bad. The only problem I foresee is the Riot stage being so closed off and tight up front, and that HUGE guest and press area taking up space. It will be an absolute mess during Misfits.

 

Also I'm wearing a black and light blue Veil Brewing shirt with a day of the dead family on it.

 

If anyone is there today and can grab an extra copy of Mutiny! On vinyl, i would gladly pay you back tomorrow!

 

Touché amore was so so sooo good.

 

I can only beg, someone be that asshole that records all of BN tomorrow?! Haha...

But for real, everyone enjoy! Hope the weather stays good. It poured here off and on all day and I'm only about 90 miles out.

 

I'm sitting here waiting for Set Your Goals, this family of four walks up by me. Their kids can't be more than 6 years old but they're so hyped for SYG and JEW.

 

Favorite thing I've seen today: Jeremy Bolm excitedly singing along to every word of The Anniversary.

 

Anyone going to Five Star tonight? SYG is DJing.

 

That means I won't.

 

My biggest takeaway from today is how little was actually done to fix the park. There are plenty of bare patches in the field from last year. There are areas that grass didn't grow back so it's covered in weeds.

So much for leaving it better than you found it. This particularly sucks considering the part of the city that we're in.

 

I stopped by the Smartpunk tent. They will selling them all weekend or until they sell out.

I've had no complaints so far except the mics cutting in and out during SYG. The layout is even better and the weather is great.

 

See, I hate this layout. It's a poor use of space. The wind keeps killing the sound.

 

Are water bottles always free at VIP or did I just get a nice person?
