Oh wow that sucks! I wish we had room for you after the MCS hookup. I bet you'll be able to find someone for TBS though. Maybe not a close friend but someone cool.
How is the line getting in? If the first band I want to watch at 1:00 and be in the park at 12:30, what time should we get there?
I don't think any one can answer this as there has always been more than one entrance. Expect the worst and get there at noon.
I was planning on getting there around 11:30 and seeing Tigers Jaw because the back entrance was always so quick, but now I have no idea.
yeah I want to see tigers jaw so i was thining of getting there around 1030/11. I have vip so I guess id have somewhere to hang out if i get in real early?
I am planning on being down in Plainfield in the morning for work and then picking up my brother in Lombard and then dropping off my car at my buddy's place in Lakeview and then taking an Uber to the park. Hopefully I can get there to watch Dillinger Escape Plan at 2:00.
Yes, 50% chance of rain but both Friday and Saturday are for PM showers. I wouldn't be surprised to see it pushed back into Sunday.
I didn't think about that. I think the games are all day games. Hopefully things aren't too crazy out there for the after shows at Metro.
do y'all have any solid food recommendations? We ended up finding a reasonable hotel in the medical district and have the day to kind of roam around. We may try to get some tickets to the cubs game.
You're not too far from the West Loop which is essentially restaurant row. Just an absurd number of delicious places over there if you're willing to shell out a decent amount of money. Even if you can eat the bar at places like Publican or Girl and the Goat it's worth it, since reservations will be jammed. Green Street Smoked Meats is a more casual place in that district that has fantastic barbecue and counter service with a full bar Around Wrigley I'd recommend Pick Me Up Cafe, Dimo's Pizza, Lucky's (was on Man v. Food but I like it) and absolutely none of the bars, especially being a game weekend. Otherwise you're close to Pilsen which has a great bbq place of its own called Honky Tonk Bbq. Lot of great Mexican food around there too. I didn't wanna repeat any recs of other areas of the city that others have mentioned on past pages

Really hard to concentrate on work right now. Only a few more hours and then I will officially be starting my weekend! Pretty excited to see the Specials tonight.
