Thursday/TWY sucks. MCS/Microwave really hurts. Plus ill be getting there late friday so no Touche or Citizen for me. Not too thrilled with this.

Morrissey is getting 1:45?! Kinda crazy that he's the longest headliner. Maybe they're just factoring in the 30 minute hissy fit he'll throw when he smells meat and refuses to go on stage.

I plan on getting there around 2-3 each day. Nothing I need to see before then. I'll probably work a half day on Friday. I am going to after shows all three nights.

Overall it's way better than I was expecting or fearing, but there are a lot of annoying ones that I didn't see coming. Ween/Refused and Thursday/ TWY are surprising and just kind of bummers. I don't see anything too terrible right now though. But Misfits will be an absolute mess without a doubt. Not as long a headlining set and nothing to take the crowd away. Hopefully people are still in a good mood so it's like The Cure and not Blink...

    Whatever. Forever.

Lots of conflicts for me, all them are between bands I really wanted to see :/

Brand New vs. Descendents is fucking brutal. Other than that ive been spared

I'm really happy with this schedule. The only bands I wanted to see but had to cut are Brand New, Glassjaw, All Time Low, Pierce the Veil, I the Mighty, and War on Women. All were easy choices to let go.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

I really wish I was going with that schedule. No terrible conflicts for me. Sigh.

Hahaha yeah that's pretty much what I was afraid of. One of my favorite records ever (The Hold Steady's BAGIA) being played at the same time as a band that's been super important to me's (MCS) last(ish) show. Shoulda gone with my gut and just scored tickets to the after show. Womp womp.

I'd recommend checking out The Hives. Even if you're not super into em recorded, they're one of the best live bands on the planet and they rarely come to the US. Also, if you're into THS I feel like Bob Mould would be right up your alley as well!

Or ya know, you can always just grab food/beers!

  23. The worst conflicts for me are definitely THS/MCS, BN/Descendents, and TWY/Thursday. The nicest surprise was that I won't have to miss any of Death Cab to make it to the Thursday show.

I'll definitely watch the beginning of their set, but I know how exhausted I'll be by the end of the weekend.

Oh shit, The Bronx just announced a Sunday after show at Double Door since the MCS show moved. So much for an early night on Sunday.
