I am not familiar with this group.

 

I suspect it's to help promote their other street festival.

 

They just posted their harassment policy and I'm super proud. I wish more big events came out loudly in support of making things safer.

 

Yeah I'm actually glad that they're posting this after the multitudes of terrible behavior l witnessed last year

 

Last year was the first time something negative happened for me. It really sucked and I'm also glad they spoke out. Don't know what was going on for it to be worse.

 

I mean, my partner's wallet was stolen out of my backpack last year. First bad thing to happen to me at Riot Fest.

Complete minor compared to other things, of course.

 

I'm pretty sure as of right now Descendents are my main priority on Saturday along with Brand New and MCS. I feel like there's no way one of those sets wont overlap

 

I really hope that Descendents overlap with Brand New instead of MCS. I'm a way bigger Descendents fan than a Brand New or MCS fan so I'm sure I would probably end up choosing to see the Descendents again. And I would much rather see MCS than see Brand New again.

 

My fingers are crossed haha

 

I could see Brand New and Descendents both playing later in the day, but I think you're in good shape.

 

Misfits Enlist Ex-Slayer Drummer Dave Lombardo for Reunion Shows

Dave Lombardo is confirmed to be drumming for The Misfits.

 

So the festival starts in like 2 and a half weeks, gotta think we're getting that schedule this week sometime?

 

Probably Friday, if I had to guess.

 

My guess is Wednesday.

 

Just locked down my girlfriend and Is three day passes for $220 total. I'm pretty pumped about that price. It's gonna be an awesome week.

No major conflicts for me in Saturday THANK GOD. Bummed about the Fitz/method man overlap but I'll live!

 

About one conflict for me a day. Hold Steady vs Motion City is absolutely brutal. I wish they would have swapped bob mould and THS.

Other conflicts are Ween x Refused x All Time Low and The Wonder years x Thursday

 

Brand New and Descendents is a pretty rough overlap

 

Biggest conflict is Sunday with Wonder Years and Thursday. The decision is pretty easily Thursday for me but was really excited to check out TWY. Kind of a bummer.

 

Oh snap, and JEW vs Turnover. I didn't even see that. Ugh...

 

Sleater-Kinney/Death Grips is brutal, Brand New/Descendents sucks a bit too. Otherwise this isn't a bad schedule at all.

 

Motion City Soundtrack and The Hold Steady overlap stinks.

 

And Thursday and The Wonder Years! That is just wrong.
