The set times for Denver were announced on 8/17 which is 17 days before it starts on 9/02. 17 days before Chicago would be 8/31. Not that it means anything.

 

I'd be surprised if they were this early, but pleasantly so. Hopefully they will be merciful on Saturday.

 

Yeah I'm assuming we'll get them next Monday or Tuesday although I'd be so happy if we did this week

 

Has the stage layout been announced yet or will it be the same as last year?

 

Anyone in town on the 15th, come to this! I play guitar in Movies About Animals and bass in Mark Rose's band, so I'll be hanging out all night and I'd love to meet some of you.

Thanks! I was able to grab some, although not before I had two failed attempts and had given up hope. I was beyond happy when I actually confirmed the purchase.

 

I'm hoping since Chicago is a little bigger they'll release it a little earlier. More decisions to make and all that.

It was out by this time last year. I think it came out August 16th, and the festival was Sept. 11-13. I've got my fingers crossed. Saturday will be brutal no matter what though. I want to see pretty much everyone on the top 2 lines except like 1 band.

 

I made a ranking of my band priorities for each day yesterday so when schedule conflicts inevitably happen, I already know which bands I will choose.

 

I was just doing the same thing. It really reminded me how many more bands I want to see on Friday and Sunday compared to Saturday.

 

Me too!! Friday and Sunday are stacked for me, but Saturday is very light.

 

Total opposite here!! Friday is so light for me. I wish the Thursday aftershow was then instead of Saturday because I could just peace early and go.

 

That's exactly what I plan to do on Saturday to make it to the Thursday show, haha.

 

You've all got it wrong. Sunday is the weakest day. I know I'm lame but I've never really listened to the Misfits or Thursday much. They'll be cool to see, but I'm not counting down the days in anticipation for them, and I'll definitely leave early Sunday for MCS.

 

Sunday is the best!! The Misfits and Thursday are my top two for that day, haha.

My top three for the fest are The Misfits, Descendents, and Refused. It's cool they each play different days, so no overlaps.

 

Friday & Sunday are stacked, Saturday is easily the weakest.

 

I have a nasty feeling that Motion City Soundtrack and Descendents will play at the same time. I'll have no choice but to go to MCS, but that would suck because Descendents are definitely in my top 5 for the weekend.

 

As long as MCS, Fitz and death cab don't overlap then I'll be a happy camper.

 

I'm afraid of that too. MCS is my second priority for the day.

 

Noooooo, this is just incorrect. The Misfits is so so so amazing, and Thursday will kill it. Friday has a lot of, "Ok, that will be fun," but Refused is pretty much my only absolute must see. I wish BN was then as well. Saturday will just be a killer for sure. No matter how they do it someone here will be furious.

 

Friday and Saturday are awesome, and Sunday's the day I'm kind of eh on. There's stuff I'd watch, but nothing I'm DYING to see.
