Also gonna put myself out there if you don't have anyone else for MCS. I love this band so much and was crushed that I couldn't get through. Thanks for putting that info out there, though, either way. Definitely generous.

 

Oh also, if this ends up working out and you can get the extra, I am happy to trade my Thursday with you. We could do that exchange and you could take an extra friend. I had decided against going because otherwise I would be too exhausted.

 

I still have not gotten an email confirmation about the MCS tickets. Anyone else?

Has anyone heard any updates or anything about the issues? I'm just freaking out and I don't know what to do. For some reason a Thursday ticket is showing up in my cart now and I almost want to buy it in case it comes up as MCS. I wonder if I should call again.

 

I might have to do that. It still hasn't come yet.

Thank you so much, it means a lot to have anyone looking out. Of all the shows to have this happen to it is just devastating. I will try to make it through the day and hope they write me back soon. I'm already looking everywhere I can and there aren't any on craigslist or reddit or anything. To have it go in correctly and double check everything and then have it go wrong is the craziest thing ever. And the poor woman I talked to felt so bad when I said this was their last show.

 

I got one email for my Thursday and MCS tickets. I'm dumb.

 

This is actually the biggest relief of my day with the way things are going. Lol.

 

I would do or pay just about anything for the Motion City Soundtrack show, so if anyone has any extra tickets or hookups let me know.

So disappointing because I was so excited that I was going to be at their last show when I thought it was actually going to be at riot fest, and I was still excited when they announced the aftershow because I was going to get to see them 2 more times and still be at their last show.

No I will only see them once and it will not be their last show. I don't want to end the 8 or so years of them being my favorite band on such a disappointing note. (In fairness I'm being extremely selfish, considering I went to the Milwaukee date of their So Long, Farewell Tour and will be at the Riot Fest show still, but it's just not the same now that it's not actually the very last show.)

Really happy for everyone that will have a second shot at this even if I am relatively bummed at the bigger venue. What's the cap of the metro?

 

1,100. So basically double... Double Door.

 

Oh that's really lame, that's even bigger than the venue I saw them at for the farewell tour. I'm sure it'll be a great night regardless.

 

I wonder how many people who had tickets to the Double Door show will be pissed about it being moved to a bigger venue.

 

I guess you could say... everything is alright.

 

I HAVE SO MANY FEELINGS RIGHT NOW!! What a whirlwind five minutes.

 

I had so much come up at work right around 4:30 so I wasn't able to check my email or my messages or notifications. Get one good news and then another one and it's all so crazy. I regret that I won't get to see them in the tiniest venue ever, but this is the only acceptable scenario with what happened. And now it's just twice as many voices singing their lungs out.

 

I think the Metro will be a much better experience for everyone involved. Yeah it's a bit bigger, but it's still a pretty intimate setting. Plus, the stage is much higher, and there's a great balcony for people not wanting to be in the shit. Not a bad view in the place. Also most importantly, it's a lot closer to my apartment. Either way, I'm super jazzed for those that had a shitty experience this morning.
