Is there ANY kind of login required for etix? I know I've purchased from them before but I can't remember if I need a username or if it's always one time use only.

 

I don't believe that there is. I could be wrong but I don't think I normally need a log in when I'm buying tickets for the double door.

I also do not think etix requires a log in.

 

Did we figure out where the Emo Night is at?

 

Oh yeah, I found the FB post. It was from the page that puts on monthly emo nights at Burlington Bar, so it's there. Should be announced soon.

 

I swear, I disappear for two days and I'm lost.

 

Anxiety over after show tickets / set times, hot takes on Motion City billing Saturday as their "final show" and discussions on what to do Thursday night I believe is all you missed.

How much are tickets for these shows historically? Do they typically sell out instantly?

 

$25-$40ish depending on venue/band I believe. And yeah, they usually do. Sometimes venues will release a few more tickets right before the show though even if they're technically 'sold out', so I recommend following whatever venue has the show you want on twitter if you initially miss out.

 

I just realized that the MCS after-show wil be the lest Riot Fest show (for the actual fest, not counting Riot Fest Presents shows) at the double door. There had been late shows there for years before it even headed outside. So That show is an end of an era in more than one way.

 

Not sure if it's been mentioned here already but JEW's website has them playing the Friday at Riot Fest. This makes sense because they're slated to play Toronto Urban Roots Festival on the Sunday.

 

Isn't it moving to a new location?

I hadn't heard anything about that either. And even if it is true, it isn't like it would be the same double door.

 

Jesus Christ, $35 + fees for MCS tickets. Makes me almost rethink the whole thing.

 

I think it's been mentioned on here a few times. Every time a band announced a tour that comes to Double Door it comes up.
