I don't know about last year but over the years there have been a few bands who have done Warped and Riot Fest.
Underoath is playing the Chicago and Denver Riot Fests. They mentioned it at the meet and greet in Orlando
We can add All Time Low and All-American Rejects to the list too along with blink and ADTR. http://www.ticketmaster.com/blink-1...artistid=790708&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
Green Day- Working on new music, haven't played shows in awhile. Long shot but possible. Husker Du- Rumor mill has been churning on them all year. Smashing Pumpkins- Chicago band, never played the fest. This is long overdue. I'd be thrilled if these were the three biggest names on the poster this year. Others that wouldn't surprise me: The Killers- they're doing a handful of fests this year, and they're just about the perfect sized band so headline a medium sized fest. The Format- probably wouldn't headline, but I think they're more than ripe for a reunion. Band of Horses- New record coming out, super diverse fan base. My Chemical Romance- Probably not this year, but definitely within the next three. Anyone else have any ideas?
All of those absolutely don't interest me at all and the undercard has been getting a bit more out of my liking of late so I'm feeling more confident in my decision to pass.
Screeching Weasel are playing some 30th anniversary dates (some of which they are playing all of My Brain Hurts) but haven't announced a Chicago one yet.
What bands haven't played Riot Fest (since they expanded it in 2012)? Almost all my favorite bands have played. Allister The Early November Hawthorne Heights Hit the Lights Paramore Story of the Year Sum 41 Thursday Underoath
That's fucking awesome. - I could definitely see 311, Bush, and Incubus being added to meet the late 90's alt rock radio quota. - Talking Heads would be insane. - Tsunami Bomb!
