Finally getting the chance to listen to this. “XS” sounds like an early 2000s Timbaland joint that a metal guitarist riffed over. Whoa.

 

yeah I definitely think it's an homage to all the great Japanese movies from that era.

 

Very surprised this album isn't talked about more on here - Listened to it on a long drive today and it's immense

The ending is wonderful - From 'Who's Gonna Save You Now' to 'Snakeskin' is perfect

 

I think this album is a perfect example of genre hopping while still being super cohesive

Checking this out for the first time and I dig it. Did not know what to expect but it's very solid.

Moses Boyds album is head and shoulders above all the rest IMO

So frustrating.

 

Yeah a lot of the extreme genre hopping stuff in the last couple of years doesn't work for me but this album does it really well.

That laugh in STFU that turns into a sung note is so badass.

 

Ugh that green vinyl went QUICK

 

Ah man. That sucks it sold out. I haven't been able to find a US seller that hasn't sold out of it.
