Enjoying 'Vapour Trail'.

 

Slowdrive set the bar high on reunion albums. I'm all in on this album.

 

I'm still waiting for my vinyl LP, I pre-ordered like 2 months ago just on a whim. Honestly until that point I'd only ever heard 'Vapour Trail', but I felt that since Ride was had re-formed(inspired by Slowdive) that the new LP was probably going to be great. I hope to get an email saying it's been shipped any day now.

Also it's 'Slowdive', not 'Slowdrive'. Even Google Play Music has it messed up, including 'Slowdrive' albums on there!

 

This is out, who has heard it?

 

I've listened to sides A & B so far, liking it a lot.

 

Really enjoying the album. Weather Diaries is the standout track for me.

 

Finished sides C & D. 8.5/10 album for me.

 

'Impermanence' sounds a lot like Slowdive's 'Waves' from the 'Just for a Day' LP.
