“And that will be my voice in flashbacks too! You got a problem with that? Too bad! It’s called science!!”
Posted in that thread a few days ago, but it totally works for Solar Opposites. Not to say it’s a great show or anything, but it didn’t miss a single step without Roiland or an impersonator
Hope this turns out to be a very good season of Rick and Morty proving once and for all, they truly do not need Roiland
I haven’t watched the show in years, but i would’ve assumed they were the same voice actor. Rick just sounds a little older I’ve always liked Harmon, I’m glad he seems to be doing well/healthier.
Yeah I'm honestly not sure I would have noticed a difference if I didn't already know it was different voices, that's awesome And great read from Harmon. It's hard to believe how much of a piece of shit Roiland is slipped under the radar for so long
The "difference" is so minimal that you would have to specifically focus on it and compare side by side and take actual time to find nuances and honestly it's exhausting to just type this which means it doesn't fucking matter
I felt like Rick was pretty noticeably different right away and then only noticeable at certain parts. That being said, I couldn’t give two shits
Decent premiere. Laughed at “Rick, it was canonical to see you”. Rick explaining the fading pill was pretty good too Granted there wasn’t much Morty presence in this one, but yeah, the new voices are basically identical to Roiland. Kind of wild. Makes me happy for all of the people working on the show
I liked the voices but the whole premise of the episode just felt corny and very un-Rick and Morty in a way I can't put my finger on. I also think there should have been more of the main crew since it was the season premiere. Oh well, the season premieres are never the highlight for this show anyway. I'm just glad it's back again.
I didn't like the premiere but the other two were quite good. The voices are really good imo, the guy playing Rick is so good that I don't think I would notice any differences there at all. I do feel like there has been a possibly intentional lack of Morty so far though?
They have been making lots of good choices this season. Ending that arc now makes the show much more interesting moving forward
I figured the Prime Rick arc was going somewhere really soon because of how much they've been directly referencing it lately but didn't expect it this soon, that was a killer episode. This show is still fantastic when it's at its best
